VP and NaVi really are the ones who have to prove themselves, not NiP

There is definitely a place for hitting but it can be avoided
I don't think its necessarily the best option, but I do not think its worthless
Personally I was hit every once in a while when I outright disrespected my parents, and while it made me sad an upset in the short term, I learned my place. Now later in life, every once in a while I see a kid who could use a whack to get them out of their own asses, thinking about how they have some responsibility but are still in others control. There needs to be a consequence for poor behavior and a smack is the easiest way to make them remember, but it shouldn't be the go-to
That being said, my father had some anger issues and when he was just in a bad mood he would actually hit me with jumper cables and throw tiling grout at me; he even smashed my brothers computer with a splitting maul once
I don't wish that upon anyone, and until I grew up and he gained respect for me, I was totally at his mercy and it wasn't fun. I hate to use the old cliche I turned out fine, because I have some issues with empathy. But for the most part, I am well adjusted, my life is going well and I get along with him fine as his behavior has gotten better. But that's not a healthy environment and I've seen it fuck up a lot of different people
Change the ambassador to not headshot at range. I feel like it will be pretty easy to get a sense of what the range is so you won't count on hitting shots, and if you have it reward aim with a minicrit that would be good
The eternal reward should probably not have a faster cloak drain speed, but maybe a slower cloak build speed
The bonk should definitely be able to soak up more damage, or have a faster recharge rate which might get gimmicky. Basically as it is now, you'll just be able to distract for 5 seconds and even if you get out, probably die if they decide to push you
I think you should be able to quickswitch the atomizer. I am not positive on the deploy times, but I think the penalty of not having a scattergun out in that time might be reasonable
For the base jumper, not being able to redeploy is enough to fix it in my opinion
Mantreads will be nuts idk what to think about that. If you have ever joined a surf server and then gone to a private server and rocket jumped, its crazy. I feel like there is no way they would make it so easy to build speed
This crossbow change is good, but I want to see them reduce the healing too maybe
Also razorback - made it balanced in competitive and really really good in pubs thanks valve
GRU is still broken, these changes don't fix it. If anything, I think they make it better
I agree with all other changes
owlif you are under 6' you should end it all tbh tbh tbh
If you are over 250 you should end it all tbh tbh tbh
6' 1"
And guy hit the gym and take their attention off your height
It works
Settle an argument I'm having with someone
When you think of fraternity boys as a stereotype, do you think rich ones wearing pastel shorts, or just drunk boisterous ones
Who's going to be the guy to take the risk and post a normal girl
HL is dying because every team leader would rather get forfeits than play, 18 people can never connect in a timely manner, and it is filled with sandbaggers
Before playing 6s, I tried joining 3 HL teams to play casually, and none of them really worked out for me because I didn't spend a lot of time online and didn't really have any friends, I just came to play
I started as a soldier in steel and was cut for someone objectively worse
Then I tried playing sniper in silver and got cut for a known hacker who was VACed during the season
Then I tried playing as a soldier in Gold and was cut for an IM player as soon as the possibility of playoffs rolled around
Clockwork
B4nny, Starkie, Shrugger are good
Blaze
Lansky or Mike, but kaptain is sick
Termo, duwatna, bdonski
Shade or Raymond
Clockwork and blaze are the only players who are definitely the best
For sure Latin American but I could see Mediterranean
Most people either focus on becoming adults and starting families and careers and shit
I know I don't play much at all since I started college
The people who keep playing games usually move to ones that aren't so lifeless
Hey powerlifters in this thread: I started doing some bodyweight stuff when I was a teenager and my first year in college I've been lifting in a gym and trying to gain some weight
Right now I'm about 170 and although I don't really train for strength and have never really properly maxed, the heaviest I have lifted is 185 bench, 275 squat, and 365 deadlift
I have been thinking about focusing more on strength training next year and I'm wondering what your paths were for that. Did you join a club or a team? Did you have a friend who was more experienced to help you, or a friend you learned with? I have a buddy who is about as strong as me and we did track together in highschool and I was thinking about doing this with him. I don't really have the mental toughness to lift really heavy or stick to a plan without someone pushing me.
I probably won't do this seriously enough to compete but I'd like to get into the gym more than a few times a week and get more from it
