#6 Good noise cancellation headphones in Hardware

Personally I think sound isolation is fine, most headphones block out plenty of noise

I haven't found that noise cancellation is worth any premium, but if its at the same price then why not

#1 Quick Question in Q/A Help

I know it has been answered on these forums before, but I cant find the thread

I read something about desktop composition in windows 7, and how if games are run in windowed mode sometimes they will display at the refresh rate of the lowest monitor, or something like that.

Could someone link me some information?

#15 165hz Asus monitor in Hardware

Has anyone tried those 600hz plasma TV's? Why aren't more people gaming on those?

I heard that that's not necessarily the image refresh but rather a color refresh or something, but someone here could probably explain

#683 PC Build Thread in Hardware

Hey setsul what build can you recommend for 350-400 dollars as a basic workstation with maybe a decent amount of Photoshop/photo editing?

Its for a friend and he's also into audio, so can any of you guys recommend a soundcard or DAC/amp combo for him? He would like to use it with a surround sound system if possible, and there isn't really any set price he has for that stuff, he just wants to look into it and maybe he'll spend a few hundred on it in the future.

I was thinking it would almost certainly have integrated graphics.

No monitor and os necessary

#26 Democratic Presidential Debate in Off Topic

Yeah I think where Bernie could really garner some moderate votes is from his foreign policies and his gun control policies

His socialist ideals could be considered unreasonable, but one really has to take feasibility into account when determining that

Like I said before he has opinion on every issue rather than just conforming to a liberal agenda and I think that will help him in the long run

It really made me sad when CNN published an article saying how well Hillary did and how she attacked the GOP and made herself look strong when all she did was "they haven't done anything" and "I'm a woman"

Like seriously what the fuck

and the crowd ate it all up

I wish I could register as an independent so I don't have to be associated with the idiocy of either side but then I wouldn't be able to vote in the primaries, and this time around the democratic candidates seem better (at least Bernie)

I though that bernie was doing very well, he doesnt really take shit from anyone

but the crowd really does seem to support hillary and im not sure why, she has abused so many blatant liberal biases i guess

i think bernie is making decisions on individual issues rather than just going with the liberal ideology

"the american people are sick about hearing about your damn emails" - i dont think its an issue that can be overlooked

#10 Democratic Presidential Debate in Off Topic

my only worry with bernie is he will be too extreme on the liberal end of the spectrum and people will be divided, and that he might go senile in office like reagan, 74 is up there.

hopefully he appoints a good cabinet if that is the case

its also very upsetting to me that hillary is receiving so much cheering for her shallow arguments whereas bernie is being completely reasonable and isn't just saying "yeah lets do stuff!"

its not pandering its compromising silly
