Bounty: Mute all sounds but hitsounds

Querthas anyone tried replacing weapon sounds?
i wanted to replace the default rocket launcher and original sounds for black box's one.
also, do explosions have different files depending on which weapon used or it's the same file?
was also looking forward to mute voice commands and hurt sounds
i would try all of this if i could, but i have no experience in customization, i'd appreciate if someone could enlighten me about this.
