Fun in mumble and does a lot of damage. Solid pickup for the new IM.

In my experience roaming against the QF, you must either make him drop before he ever even right clicks (much like the stock uber) or have your 2nd rocket landing (assuming he was at 150 as you engaged him) within about .25 seconds of the pop.
Once the mega-heal is engaged, it's borderline impossible to kill either player (med or heal target) without 2-3 players focus firing, a sticky trap, or kritzkrieg.
Can I out snipe Paragon on viaduct? Tune in next week to watch me get fucking demolished.
Yeah, we just realized that quick fix gives you an undeniable advantage in the actual mid.
-Medic is much more survivable
-Faster heal rate far more important than buffs through the course of the midfight
-You will almost always get charge before the end of the fight and can use it to chase with scouts very effectively
Not going to mid nullifies these advantages somewhat unique to the midfight, making kritz just entirely better and forcing the game into the transitional fighting stage, in which we as a team are much more comfortable.
How is not going to mid gay?
edit: Not flaming, just curious?
Not really. It appears that a lot of the teams in open are gonna be prem teams who would otherwise be in invite. Thats a pretty huge risk for esea, hoping that 5+ extra "open" level teams join.
If this season is successful, they will probably have invite and open next season, and possibly and IM added the season or 2 after that.
They are a for profit company and as such they can't just take big risks.
Will IM require an established (successful in the previous season of open) roster?
SylvesterIt's HILARIOUS seeing how everyone here thinks Pyro doesn't require a lot of skill.
FIRST OFF, yes, I'll say the DM is very easy, but positioning yourself as a Pyro and knowing what you're actually doing in Highlander is another thing. You absolutely HAVE TO KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING or you will help let your team down.
Step 1: Stand next to the medic.
Step 2: Look behind you once in a while.
Did I win yet?
AllealThe2DollarHookerAllealOr the it's due to the well established fact that soldier has a significant advantage in confined areas. That sounds a lot less retarded doesn't it?
Watch good scouts, they win plenty of indoor fights. You're probably just doing stupid stuff like running head on into a 300hp overhealed pocket, dying, and going "FML soldier is so op"
I didn't say they never win, I said it's the exact same feeling as fighting a Pyro close range. I'm pointing out how ridiculous it is for players who spend 80% of their career shooting the ground to complain about how 'easy' pyro is at close range. You just keep +fowarding into blands house though I'm sure nothing bad will happen.
If you can't beat a soldier at close range as scout, that means you aren't as good as him/her.
Last friday zbryan showed a bunch of newer players demo/roamer rollouts on most of the maps, they seemed to really appreciate it.
