I think your draw distances and/or LoDing are a bit off, framerate on the entire map is pretty bad

Trying harder and thinking gives you better practice. Losing most of the time isn't a bad thing because if it's a challenge you're forced to improve, it's a bad thing if you stop trying and give up. Maintaining morale can be tough, but that's what you've gotta do if you wanna get better.

I believe they multi for a tiny amount of time, but it's pretty negligible in a real game. You'll only notice a difference if you flash your entire team (not something you wanna do with kritz, and you should be too busy monitoring your team's health to click around so much on quick-fix ubers (mega)).

Why don't you just update the pug.na map pool with a new map or 2? Along with updating/removing old versions of maps on there.
I don't think many pugs would be played on an entirely new channel.
