Hello Gamers, today I come to you with a question.

My friend Turbomonkey (Not to be confused with TurboTabs) was looking to play in a Low team with one of his old team mates from years ago. Now, he wanted to do it on medic. But since he had played with Chimpanz Instinct in div1/prem qualifiers in season 33, the admins told him that he would not be allowed to play in Low, even on medic.

My thinking here is that if Fresh Meat allows higher level players to play on Medic with absolute beginners at the game, why would my friend Turbomonkey not be allowed to play medic in Low. There seems to be some kind of logic disconnect there, seeing as the admins can admit that having a good medic even on a bad team is not going to have much of an impact, yet they wont allow him.

My question to you TF.TV: Is this fair? Should my good friend Turbomonkey be allowed to play in Low? Or should he not, and if so, why?

the format itself for the tournament is gonna be nothing special, single elimination bo1 til the semifinals when it'll be bo3.
i think the max amount of people i want for this is 32, since else it feels like it might take quite a while to finish.

depends on if you have compositing enabled or not, check "window manager tweaks" and the compositing tab

not true, if you use a desktop environment which has a compositor running on the gpu and has a locked refresh rate, chances are you're gonna have input lag and basically vsync on. really noticable with Cinnamon and KDE.

I skimmed through the code, and what I found was appalling. It tries to steal your steam username and password by presenting a fake login page by redirecting you every time you go on one of the official steam domains. It also does some other dodgy stuff, like trying to extract saved passwords and active login cookies. Of course only americans would fall for this..
