ComangliaThis depends very heavily on the subjective view point of "How fat is fat?" During the Italian Renaissance the "ideal" beauty was certainly heavier than it really had been before in Europe or since for that matter. If I recall the ideal size for the Italian Renaissance was roughly a size 10 for girls which the ideal for American women now is roughly a size 6, though the average American woman is roughly a size 14 now. S. Korean/Japanese standards of beauty would require women to be roughly a size 2 or 4 (which to them a size 6, 10, and 14 are all fat).
yeah people have different perceptions of beauty but the point i'm making is that the point ploxo and turin are making, which is more fat=more sexy, is retarded. i suppose, biologically, the point of which people start to become visually repulsive is the point where they become unable to perform basic movement patterns required for manual labor or general monkeying around.

TurinIt was common in more ancient times of human development, that larger women/higher body fat was more desirable.
note that many of these paintings depict goddesses and royalty which represent the ideal of what a woman should be for that time period. you can find more with a simple google search. common features include: small waist, protruding hip bones, thin arms, long legs, tight ass, etc...
fat women have never been desirable in any culture, save for a few isolated tribes in africa. not only has the male's spectrum for attraction not changed in the past 6000 years, it wouldn't even have made any sense if it had. in ancient times, people had to work to survive and women were expected to have certain jobs and tasks, same as men. a fat women would have been seen as nothing but a depletion of resources, food, a higher risk of disease, and poor fertility.
