#21 Good Mousepads? in TF2 General Discussion

i wash my mousepads with water, shampoo and a bristle brush. today my qck+ arrived. i got it because it's a lot bigger than my old xtrack ripper. both the xtrac ripper and qck+ perform about the same so i would recommend both; qck+ if you need the extra room and xtrac ripper if you're on a budget.

klananaI am not sure what websites you have been cruisin through if you are getting ads for online degrees in counter terrorism and sports illustrated swimsuit 2013... but as far as the ads I have seen on the site go, they are not randomly generated. Every single ad I have seen so far has been for a website I have visited at some point in time... which I assume is because enigma is using googles interest-based advertising method - aka ads are placed based on sites you have visited. So if youre getting some wacky ass ads popping up on this site... you may want to think back on what sites you have been to...

all this is fine and dandy. but for someone like me, who takes great care to purge their browser of unneccessary tracking scripts, interest-based ads cannot be selected based on their browsing history.

klananaIMO doing the ads this way is THE BEST way of advertising - especially when you consider how diverse this group is. I have ads enabled and every single ad is for a website I have visited - hell i was even looking at a site that i really wanted to order shoes from and i completely forgot what the website was... then the other day BAM! there was an ad for the site chillin in the forums. It as like a little ad miracle.

Turn off your adblocker - you may get an ad for something you wanted to buy but forgot about.

I think we can come to the conclusion that if you find ads profitable for yourself then you should use them because it benefits both you and the advertiser. but personally, the likelihood for an ad to make me reach for my wallet is almost 0 and i quite enjoy not looking at ads for things i don't want, i'm sure others feel the same way. i, along with 15 million other people around the world, will continue to use adblock for a cleaner web experience. no commitment, no hidden fees and absolutely free. see what all the buzz is about at http://adblockplus.org today, see you soon!

#1 BIG BOYS in Recruitment (looking for team)

our beloved pocket, vile, better known as pt, better known as re[pt]ile has decided to move tf2 back one notch on his priories list because he will soon be starting a family with nicole (it was nice meeting you!) and thus, won't be around as much. he will still be around to play every once in a while but we will need an new starter for intermediate s14. now, this position isn't for everyone as i'm sure you're aware vile has the most damage and frags in the entire league so you'll need pretty big feet to fill these shoes. vile is, arguably, the best soldier in the game. he can outplay, out dm, out jump, out 420 anyone. and when i say anyone, i mean everyone. vile is so good he gets frags just by being there. he is so good his neighbors come over to watch him play every thursday. he is so good god once made him fall down a set of stairs and break his finger just to make it fair for the other team(they still got 5-0'd). if you want to get a taste of just how good vile is you can watch his frag video here; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6-z-W5lOoE. keep in mind this video is about 7 years old as vile is about 11 times, if not more, as good as he was in this video. think you got what it takes? add me and we'll see if you're a good candidate and later down the line i will guide you through the big boys initiation process. ;) thanks for reading!

#120 Comms that make a 6s mumble terrible in TF2 General Discussion
Paddie"FOCUS HEALS ON ME, FUCK EVERYONE ELSE, I'M THE POCKET" (as your flank withers away and dies)

"I am literally the greatest" (after baiting your entire team and cleaning up frags with 6 dmg shots)

that is awfully specific

adblock is not a crime. why add this punishment.

To get rid of that add this rule to your adblock rule list:

teamfortress.tv##DIV[style="width: 728px; height: 90px; background: #444; margin-top: 6px; margin-bottom: 6px;"]
tehh4ck3rukmif ur really too much of a douche to add an exception and support upkeep on this site u deserve an ugly grey bar
i thought ads here were pay per click and not pay per view?

google ads, which this site uses, are ppc ads. the beauty about the internet is that you have control over how you view the internet and the freedom to not be bombarded with ads like you are in public and tv. those of you who are shitting on adblock users need to get off your high horse, disabling adblock on this site ain't doing shit for enigma unless you're clicking on them and i sincerely hope none of you are clicking ads for "online degrees in counter terrorism" and "sports illustrated swimsuit 2013". if you really want to support this site you would contact enigma, directly, and send him some of your pocket money. you know, buy him a coffee or something. or if enigma is really strapped for cash he'd put up a donations page which will generate some decent cash if the tf.tv users are as supportive as they appear on the forums. i'm not telling you to use adblock, you can do whatever the fuck you want to do.

i've pugged with crespi a few times recently and he's alright in my book. he's friendly, understanding and doesn't rage from my experiences.

#77 LIST OF USEFUL TF2 TIPS in TF2 General Discussion

if you're already stuck might as well go balls deep and do as much damage as you can instead of dying while trying to get out. don't use this as an excuse to put yourself in a position to get stuck.

#1 make the layout vertical monitor friendly in Site Discussion

currently the layout is too wide to fit on monitors with a width of 1050.

practically every other site is vertical monitor friendly

this is a slight inconvenience that i, as well as others, would appreciate if fixed.

i'm aware i can zoom out but it will break the layout

i added him from coaching newbies because he's hilarious. afterwards i played pugs with him and turns out he's good. he picked up the game really quickly and understands the metagame well. he takes criticism well, doesn't rage/bitch and comms well. belongs on a high open team.
