Anyone know what was up with the STVs? Why were they not working? Is it just a case of "oops we forgot lol" like ESEA LAN STVs were for forever?

Yes, they are different, but have the same idea. Both failed for similar reasons. But they aren't the same. I started NMP because NMW died and I wanted to get them going again. I probably should have never been involved in NMW and I probably should have never started NMP since I am so inexperienced.
Would love to see NMW started again.
CanFoI thought TF2 was dead after i49?!
Who told you that?
GrImpartialRageIt looks pretty fun actually. Looking forward to trying it out. It's Attack/Defend, not 5cp. (Like Gravelpit or Dustbowl style).
There may be a problem with balancing out the difficulty of capturing the opposing team's points though, since the map isn't symmetrical. As in, Blu team's last may be a lot easier to push in and capture than Red team's last. That could be determined pretty easily after a few pugs though
I think people may be getting confused because it says it's a 5CP map in-game. I don't know why it's doing that, but it doesn't affect gameplay.
if we're banning killing is a faggot then can we also ban killing
Oops forgot a thank you:
Shoutout to

AlfieiM did better than expected
sorry I can't think straight now I'm exhausted from amazing tf2
There's so many people to thank for i49.
First, thank you, players, for putting on a good show. Surprised to see iM do so well, but after their performance earlier in the LAN, I'm a little surprised they didn't get 3rd. The finals were amazing, but TCM/Broder sadly didn't take it all. :( Oh well, Epsilon deserved it.
Next, thank you spectators, for watching and giving us higher viewcounts.
Thanks to the admins of the tournament for... well, the organization, of course.
Thanks to Multiplay for allowing us to have an official TF2 tournament at i49.
And last but definitely not least, I want to thank VanillaTV for streaming the entire thing (well, almost... but there was nothing you could do about that.). The casting was entertaining and (mostly) professional. The green screen and the interviews really made this feel 100x better than last year. Major shoutout to Lange, who did all most of the camerawork (all on Sat/Sun, huhy told me that davidthewin did some on Friday) and a lot of production this weekend. Love ya <3
Let's make i52 even better than this LAN.
hanbroloCan you add back in the hiding spot above the door in map room and cheeky shit like that?
It's probably in there, as I'm using the SDK version, which is an older version of the map. I will look at possibly changing some things after getting the point layout down.
Cloudmaker2Screenshots please?
It's literally pl_badwater with the payload points replaced with normal control points. Don't see the point in taking screenshots of that. well see above
LuckyLukeJust a technical question.. How did VanillaTV get the top timer countdown to use map time left? Is it a HUD thing? How can I get that to work in our eXtv HUD?
It's a command recently added, tf_hud_show_servertimelimit. You need to add it to the HUD manually though. Ask Rays how to do it.
OH MY GOD TCM
I CAN'T STOP TYPING IN CAPS I'M TOO HYPE
