Maybe, maybe not. I don't know how TFTV gets the streams, but if it has to authenticate, it's going to have to be redone.
That does not sound like it should, but I don't know servers.

I'm curious about this. Right now, I believe that playing new maps is like playing gpit: no one wants to do it because they can just play Badlands or whatever.

TerywjTwitchTVJohnPeople bitch about GPit every season but don't do anything about it. This topic is pretty stale.
I'm pretty sure Gravel Pit got voted out on the poll prior to this season's start but it was never actually removed.
I thought keeping the maps the same barely edged out voting out gpit.
Still, now that we have a decent maplist aside from gpit, it's more likely to get voted out. I'd try voting in Edifice (either the way it currently is or a linear version), or koth_ashville.

IT'S EDIFICE NOT EDIFACE GOD
I wouldn't mind seeing Edifice in for S15, unless it goes over horribly in UGC. If it ends up being horrible, then we can vote it out. By that time there should probably be another 5cp map to replace it, unless we want koth_ashville again/someone actually makes a good koth map (rip koth_granary).
