#1 Venom Crosshairs: Weapon crosshairs made EASY in Customization

Intro:
Yo! Early last year I was introduced to weapon-specific crosshairs by a friend, I personally found it annoying and frustrating to either manually edit each script file or use websites that I knew about at the time. I grew tired and wanted a single piece of software/program to create and/or edit my weapon-specific crosshair config. Was told by a few of my friends to make a tftv thread to share my work, so here is the result from my inner frustration.

Venom Crosshairs is an open-source client-side solution to automating the installation and make customization of weapon-specific crosshairs easier.

Venom Crosshairs currently contain over 167 crosshairs found from various places around the interwebs and from recommendations by friends. A full list can be found in another repository here. I'd be happy to verify and add more crosshairs.

Venom Crosshairs is still under "beta" so there might be bugs that aren't ironed out yet.

Yes, this only works on Windows.

Tutorial / Installation:

Show Content
1. Download the latest release found here.
2. Extract the folder named VenomCrosshairs to a directory of your liking (that is NOT \tf\custom).
3. Run VenomCrosshairs.exe and customize your weapon-specific crosshair config.
4. Hit Install/Update to install config.
5. Set cl_crosshair_file "" in Team Fortress 2.

If you did not quit/restart Team Fortress 2 you can use mat_reloadmaterial thumbnails to reload the crosshair materials.

NOTE: If you already have an old custom/weapon-specific crosshair folder in `tf\custom` delete it or rename it to _VenomCrosshairsConfig

Is this a highly sophisticated virus to steal my TF2 items :O ?:
