washyGeknaiirI enjoy this hud except for the spectator death icon. The skull just looks too stretched out. But other than that, it looks really nice.The way I made the health is that I used the vertical part of the cross so that it actually shows proper health and I used the bg to overlap the right side of the cross sticking out, the problem is that it disappears after death so it just shows a stretched skull.
randomirishladlooks more like its based on gmang/deli rather than broesel but still looks nice.I did get ideas from other huds but I started this as a mod of broselhud for my own use, I got the font from Doodlehud and I got some placement ideas from omphud, evehud and flame.

The way around that is to use a font that makes all of the letters/numbers blocks, and then make that a second respawn timer value so it covers up the skull while it shows their respawn time. I believe omp hud does that, so you could get the font from there.

I spent an hour or two developing a central version because people have shown interest. It'd be great if people could help test, I think I made everything mesh better for a central hud, but I always forget one thing.

updated the github to keep damage indicators, that was just a personal preference

if anyone else doesn't want them just add "minimumwidth" "0" and "maximumwidth" "0" to HUDDamageIndicator in hudlayout.res

Two things I've considered using for hud elements are the 'scanlines' and 'blur' elements that you can add to fonts like in half life: http://i.imgur.com/pX7fb7i.jpg

I think it could make a unique scheme for a hud, I just prefer mine to be clean and simple

kosNo idea why but the font's are messed up using Linux (ubuntu 12.10), doesn't make it unusable but is a bit annoying. Really nice HUD btw, i like it a lot.

Hmm, it looks like the font isn't weighted on linux, I may be able to use a bolded font for the HP/Ammo, I unfortunately can't test it on linux so that may be a later project.

I did however make the ammo numbers smaller because of the resolution. The only thing that gets a little bugged is the koth timers.

I fixed the koth timers and made the HP/ammo smaller since the last version I gave you. And yes the HUD is compatible in 4:3, although the HUD crosshairs and such were all aligned in 1920x1080.

That's another note for anyone interested, I have basically every custom crosshair you could want installed (konrwings, fog's, Ell's, 5 unique circles and 3 +'s etc).

NoonaReally nice hud. I will definitely be trying this out in the near future; That is if I ever do get bored of Deli's hud (Which will most likely never happen). Also, are there any possibilities that there will be a central version of this hud?

my comp does that after power outages, something gets screwed up with the timing and windows runs at 120x speed

lightly tapping keys makes long strings, videos end almost instantly, my voice sounds insanely slow in mumble and i cant double click on anything
