esea client OS error

I've been on windows XP for over 2 years and I haven't had this issue with esea before. Mabye it was because of a new client update but is anyone else having this issue? It occurs whenever I try launching the client. I've tried reinstalling the client, and restarting my computer.

Error #108: The current operating system is unsupported. Windows Vista Service Pack 2 or a more recent version of Windows is required.
does any other xp users have this problem? will esea revert this update? I know tf2 had this issue in the past where an update came out and no xp users could play it for a little over a day. any help would be appreciated.
