#7 Why does everyone edit on Sony Vegas? in TF2 General Discussion

Yeah it's very simple to use. Also it's extremely versatile. I started in After Effects and found it's a more technical program, but it's not very good for all-around editing. For instance, syncing is needlessly difficult, whereas Velocity plugin in Vegas makes it really easy.

#10 Opinion on Mice? in Hardware
Oblivionagethat gives me a lot of info on mice to pick hooli thanks. do you have any personal experience with any of those mice?

Hmm i hope it's your own mouse because I keep hearing great things about the g400 and i might want to pick one up. I don't play with ultra-low sens though. 5-6in./360

Do you guys think the g400 is the best out of the g-series for gaming?

It's the best so far. From what I've heard the MX518 is more reliable (doesn't have a terrible cord that wears out and causes it to disconnect randomly, doesn't have prediction issues on early models), but it also has a bit of positive accel or something? Overall Logitech definitely wins as far as support goes. As long as you have the serial number you can call them up and get free replacements shipped to you.

As for personal experience with the flawless sensor mice;
1. Abyssus - Good claw grip mouse with a good sensor. Lift off distance is a tad high but not a huge problem. The shape is very very small though and if you are used to palm grip you won't like this mouse at all.

2. Microsoft mice - All of them are fantastic but they're also low DPI and the buttons feel cheap, especially the side buttons.

3. Deathadder - Another really good mouse but it's very hit or miss as far as the shape goes, it's also a tad spendy. I really like it, you may not. See if you can find one to feel up before buying it online.

#16 Mumble Overlay Thread in Off Topic

Been using this one for a while now, I just wanted something really minimal, I can hide it places on the DotA and SC2 HUDs really easily without it being crowded.

#10 Mouse Feet in Hardware

Hyperglides are great but they take a while to ship out since they're coming from Singapore (to the US it says 20 days from date of postage)

I've also tried Puretrak feet and they are pretty good too. And as an added bonus every time you type Puretrak, Google Chrome's spellcheck will recommend you change it to "urethrae".

#30 Who says supports in dota cant carry? in Off Topic

http://www.dota2alttab.com/

Just build whatever it says, then every game take a moment to read what you're building and eventually you'll start to realize why you build certain things

And you get back into it by playing the game (of all things, this may be surprising)

Fzeroflynn__Make sure you snag yourself a version of 1.7 if you get Project 64.
Again it's been awhile since I've used it, but what happened after 1.7?

Netplay
Also by "snag" I didn't necessarily mean "buy"
