144hz screen tear/jitter on Chrome?

Still happening after reinstalling drivers. Will check out the overdrive option.
Edit: my overdrive is only set to 60
Seems to be fine at 120hz. My old-ish GPU probably can't handle (or wasn't built for) 144hz.

TwistedTry uninstalling and reinstalling your video drivers and see if that does anything for you.
It doesn't sound like the issue is hardware sided.
I am on beta drivers, although my drivers have proven to be super stubborn in the past. idk if there's a new version of amd drivers out there

It's definitely secure. It's not happening randomly, it seems to only happen on pageload.

My pgup and pgdown buttons are way on the other side of the keyboard. I don't think I've ever used them.
The whole screen, taskbar and all. I tried making the Chrome window smaller to see if it was just a chrome problem but the whole screen jumped even then.

144hz screen tear/jitter on Chrome?

Ayo.
I just got my 144hz monitor (been using it on 60hz for the past two days lol) and I'm loving it, but I seem to have an odd problem. Whenever I load a big page in Chrome, upon loading, the screen jitters down for a fraction of a second. It only happens in Chrome (and I can't get a video to show it so I can't describe it that well, sorry). It doesn't happen in 60hz at all. Any ideas? Kinda stumped.

gpu: radeon 6770
