Pops_I did not do a great job of explaining the situation but I think Midas got it right. Invite wouldn't have worked logistically and many of our players, including myself, don't have the time or will to play invite. Plus mason, mustard, and phantom hit the nail on the head about scrimming / rosters that have been together for weeks, which we have not. We could very easily place outside the top 5.

My only goal was to resurrect the Faint roster to finish the season to completion.

To add on: my only reason for playing is to finish the season out for Faint, as they deserve that much. I don’t even expect top 4, given how we haven’t scrimmed in weeks and I haven’t done anything besides play osu and drown in schoolwork for the past month. There’s lots of good teams this season in IM and any of the top 5 or so could win.

now can we get back to there being 2 invite players on an open team

edit:

aierayall raging about us faking picking up catface but say nothing when uber, um, crate, christie, monkeyjedi, and walrex actually played a match with someone with a tf2 vac that was less than a month old

if u found out who was on that team from the alts couldn't u just have found out who owned the vac'd alt too

i had a really solid invite team, with all friends, and it was killed by esea admins
then i get offered a spot on velocity, and then it dies literally the day after i join

it's so frustrating, i want to play invite and improve so badly but things are just preventing me from playing
at some point my motivation is going to be completely drained and im going to completely quit the game
