the significance of the "letter" is vastly overstated.
it's not some holy treatise on competitive TF2 aimed to sway Valve into giving us everything we've ever wanted -- just a loose collection of thoughts by a couple people over a few days.
it wasn't even going to be sent at all and was only attached later in an email thread.
one last go in 15 minutes
edit: too slow
anyone have recommendations for a simple reverse proxy service?
this has been a longstanding issue with cloudflare
if you've noticed that all fonts look a bit different in chrome, it's because directwrite is enabled by default as of a few updates ago
I can't stand what it does to small font sizes (particularly Verdana -- it's what posts are rendered in on this site and what's used on reddit) so I've had it disabled for a while now
to fix:
the phrasing is beyond confusing so I've attached screenshots:
what it should like like before disabling directwrite:

YMMV
KanecoNerfing the demo wouldn't work as we saw already this year, not enough entry damage for the fragging classes to follow up which consequently has the opposite effect and actually slows down the game more.
what
ignoring the fact that everyone had less than a week to adjust to a balance patch in a game that's been more or less unchanged at its core in 7 years, what you're saying just straight up isn't true
Frost_BiteIt has to do with the nature of sticky traps and spam, not the power level of the class.
i fail to see the distinction
Frost_BiteIt's well-known how hard it is to push into second/mid from last/second in 6s as-is against a team parking the bus.
you've highlighted a symptom yourself
KanecoIt has nothing to do with being OP honestly, much more about promoting a fast paced and aggressive gameplay because 2 demos would make the game so much more passive and slow.
... and by that same logic if you nerf the demoman you are
promoting fast paced and aggressive gameplay
he lives like 10 minutes away so he's probably going but not playing
something's amiss with paypal IPN notifications
i'll fix it for you guys ASAP in the meantime
Anyone have a flight tomorrow morning at 6 am at PHL?
