using the laser gun is fun
the problem Licor is talking about is that if you dont buy champions with money you need to either choose to get Runes with IP or Champions with IP, thereby limiting what you can have by 30.
this creates a "pay for advantage" situation where you can have the current meta heroes AND runes to back them up (champions from RP and runes from IP) in order to have an upperhand in the lane where a person who didnt purchase RP will have to either hope they already own the hero, hope the hero is free, or buy the hero with IP, which if they don't have Runes for will be pointless as in a mirror situation the person who bought the hero with RP will win just beacuse he has that extra armor or damage or health or armor pen.
This is entirely assuming both parties have the same amount of time in the game.
and once again this all essentially becomes a non-factor once you get to Summoner Level 30.
all that tells me rick is that i need to hjave the heroes that are in the meta and im not always gonna have the IP to get them and where do you think i get RP from
thmpsndokidokipanicSpeaking of shit posters, what happened to hithere?or 9v9enthusiast

NicholausThis thread reminded me that I need to install the translated version of Mother and play through that and Earthbound.
And speaking of Star Ocean, if you feel like it, get a PS1 emulator and try out Star Ocean: The Second Story. Pretty much the same as how Kirby described Til' the End of Time; slow at first, but by end game it's outstanding.
Another good PS1 JRPG was The Legend of Dragoon. It's turned based typical early FF style combat, but it has this neat timing/combo mechanic to spice up the combat. Very lengthy story and secret bosses 'n shit.
Also Golden Sun for the GBA. Too much of my childhood spent on that and its sequel, The Lost Age.
+1 to Dragoon and Golden Sun
(would also recommend you play through the fan translation of Mother 3, as well as the - eventual - fan-made Mother 4)
their bias against anything non-tf2 related is laughable
rage1LicorLeague's p2w by technicality (unless you have like 10k hours you can still spend $$ to get an advantage however small it may be)It'd be p2w if you could buy Runes with it. Otherwise, it's not - skins and champions are not an advantage in game.
you can buy masteries though
when ranking up to 30 you pretty much have to decide between characters and masteries, because both cost so much IP
dont mind moose hes the resident shit poster
TallHorsedark souls? it's as western/mainstream as a jrpg can get but the entire souls series is worth trying.
id hardly label the souls series as a JRPG, its much more of an ARPG
Pick cute girl character (theres hundreds im sure you acn pick one) -> buy them first thing you do -> play the game until youre rank 30 -> enjoy the game
