ESEA is trying their hardest to scare away the EU players.

potApparently it's a tcp/udp packet issue whatever that means. I know other people are having the same issues and one possible solution is to go into settings>network and checking "Force TCP mode".
TCP and UDP are the 2 different methods used for sending packets (aka information). Basically, UDP doesn't ensure data ends up where it should, it just sends it and hopes for the best. TCP requires response messages, to make sure packets not only arrive, but arrive in the right order.
So as you'd expect, UDP should be faster, although not good if you are having dropped packets. I don't know what kind of timing difference that might relate to in mumble though.
Where is your favourite place to be, outside of perhaps your computer chair?
Library? Park? Arcade?
Bonus of you've got cool pictures.
obe_TIL scheme is a common-ish intro level language. I thought my uni was just dumb.
I had a bunch of friends, and myself, go to a bunch of Canadian Unis and UWaterloo is literally the only one I've heard of teaching it.
Honestly I don't even know what Scheme is though.
@OP, Textbooks and TAs if you are desperate can generally tell you everything you need to know. I imagine you've met a lot of people in class as well, you should try contacting them.
FFGreillyStorage: 1TB/8GB Hybrid SSHD
I've only quickly read what an SSHD is, but from what I've read is that it self-determines the most important bytes to store on the "SSD" portion of it.
If that's right, then installing Windows should be no problem, despite being larger than 8GB (I think every Linux distro would be larger than that too actually)?
as amazing as that may sound GNU/Linux distros are not full of bloat
I installed Ubuntu on a memory stick, and it took up 11GB. Did I do something wrong, or is there something else?

frkn16 gigs seems unnecessary for the purpose, although I suppose they went with it in all machines for consistency and to ensure ram is not a factor during the beta tests.
For the purpose of gaming, you are totally correct. Although if these are supposed to be high-end models, I feel there is a good chance people will just use these as PCs well, in which case the memory could server a purpose, and isn't really too expensive.

Searching the forum is very effective. Not trying to sound condescending there, just trying to point out.
I'd be down to go, although I heard last year was a bit of a disappointment.
Do you guys still think it's worth it?
I just re-skimmed through it. Not only was there as many spy clips as scout clips, but there was as many heavy clips as scout clips. Sad LAN for scouts :(
It wasn't perfect, but much like your last one was very clean. Like you said, it was a frag show and did a good job of showing the frags.
Not really your fault, but I think this LAN was pretty disappointing for clips. A lack of great scout streaks (I zoned out for a bit, was there even a single one?).

Well fuck.
If kurt was cameraman, he'd be the most likely to have it, but I have my doubts about that even. There is little reason for them to bother recording.
It's gone down for a week+ in the past, and eventually came back.
