#18 Fav Youtuber/Youtube channel? in TF2 General Discussion

LEMMiNO- deep dive conspiracies and fact checking, researches years as a time on cool shit
Smartereveryday- good little ritual videos to get some new information about shit I didn't pick up on at school
Devin Nash - this guy is woke af, not even ironic just a Brainiac and love to hear him talk about stuff
Let's Game It Out - ex-game dev self-employed as a game reviewer through the art of doing everything as wrong as possible
SsethTzeentach - Hilariously nihilistic and dark humor game reviews
Tewtiy - Mobile gamer, plays some good stuff always brings you a full experience of a mobile game if you wanna check it out before hand
QCP - They do a great job of keeping Quake a full fledged esports production
colinfurze - you've seen his antics somehow making insanely unnecessarily over-designed, DIY bullshit
3kliksphilip - good for anybody a fan of the source engine and wants to know more about it
bill wurtz - nothing on the internet like it
Cyriak - also nothing like it
Karl Jobst - speedrun documentarian/aficionado that fills my brain with dope speedrun history stuff. his one on Quake is fucking phenomenal.
Gamer's Little Playground - All cutscenes to video games you never went and played but wanna see what all happens
Hot Pepper Gaming - used to love this channel, kinda forgot about it. other tuber/streamers will come on and basically down a hot pepper and try to explain what the game is about in full. pretty funny stuff.

#9 Is Lange OK? in Off Topic

Lange was one of the first people I met irl from tf2, he's always been the 'ahead of the curve' type and on his own wave. I don't detect anything super alarming, think it's just him getting just bored waiting for his job with TOTH to pick back up (I imagine is all on pause) and is entertaining himself. He's been exercising music as long as I can remember, I think I remember the first sample he dropped before making them into videos you're seeing now, he wasn't unhealthy then I don't think now. Is this a mid-life crisis or a break of sanity? Well, he's smart enough I wouldn't dismiss the possibility but I don't think this is a cry for help in any sense of the way from Lange.

#3 Free Market: A Case Study in Team Fortress 2 in Videos

Knew the day would come when we are viewed as a psych eval goldmine

like an airgapped ecosystem of brain dead neets and chronic masturbaters in a jar in a lab

#32 Generally not well known films.... in Music, Movies, TV

Rashomon - 1950

We watched it in our film class, probably more known that I think but the Box Office was like, less than 50,000 worldwide since launch.

It's a Japanese film about the situation of 1 crime scene being told by 4 different perspectives in court. Very interesting, good use of color and contrast due to the crime scene taking place in a shaded grove.

I applaud the effort to create a new stomping ground, but pls format your post and add breaks in your paragraphs. It reads like scribble notes.

Thank you.

#47 sync rocket terms in TF2 General Discussion

what the hell did i stumble upon here

a sync is when 2 or more rockets, are used to explode simultaneously underneath you to give you an increase in speed in the air

a double sync sounds like you just did the same thing twice

a triple sync sounds like you just did the same thing thrice

a quad sync sounds like a four wheeler

a quint sync sounds like quincy and i don't want to think about the next one in line here

a sex sync

#13 Youngest prem/invite player ever. in TF2 General Discussion
mustardoverlordI think lansky was 13 or 14 on hostile faction but I’m not sure if he played with them in invite or in the time before invite was even a thing

Yes, as far as I can remember he was the very youngest, me next? But I think it was called was Apoplexy Industries or something, think oPlaiD (there's a throwback!) was on the team too and kaytee. Lansky and I are the same age. We played the same time, I got into invite just a little after he did my first invite team being Mobility Gaming the next season. God what a terrible team. It was a big deal to me so I remember committing that detail to memory. I recall when Lansky joined up, he was 13, I joined Mobility Gaming in ESEA-I Season 7* (had to look this up) also at age 13 I think. So both of us? Didn't get back into invite for another couple years but I remember my first invite match being against Harbleu and Seagull Platinum and oPlaiD on Blight Gaming on cp_granary and they were just the sweetest to me congratulating me on my first pro FPS match and being so young.

I popped onto Seagull's stream one day at his peak in OW, said hello and he remembered exactly who I was and when we first played. Was super cool to get that from a TF2 graduate in an audience of 5000 viewers.

edit: Had to look up my esea to confirm my own shit, turns out I was off by a little bit. I asked Lansky too, he's a month older than I and was 14 when he played his first pro match. I just turned 15 two weeks before my only 3 inv matches in Season 7 on Mobility Gaming so that makes Lansky the youngest to enter the pro scene in North America. I was at least 14 when being noticed and started ringing for invite teams. Seagull wasn't in my first official matches, but harbleu was. I think i'm just remembering pugs where we played. But he still remembered a fellow gamer in the crowd and that too stuck with me.
