Hey, played this in some IM+ pugs. Here was our feedback:

Sniper sightlines are huge (from top left out of spawn you can see everything basically)

Tunnel under the map is irrelevant

Lobby is unnecessarily big and convoluted

Mid cap time is insanely long, it takes over twice as long to cap as viaduct (12 seconds to 25 seconds)

Mid capture area is very small, one sticky can hit anyone trying to cap, some combo of reducing cap time and increasing cap area would be nice, but at least reduce the cap time

the image was more to highlight tf2 compared to valve's other games (regardless it should at least get proportional support)

i suppose it's even worse because if they do something with tf2 and fail, it wont be nearly as bad as hi-rez failing that game

less than proportional would still be so fucking amazing

valve put up 1.6 mil. we're a bit under 1/10th the size of dota but even like 1/20th of the base prize pool (so 80k) would go such a long way towards a great tournament

Raptor00XOne question, have the NA players looked at the whitelist from S25, whats the problem with it, why wouldn't you want to adapt it? This shouldn't sound like "wtf, why are you not using our whitelist" more like "what weapons do you think are not okay in our whitelist?"

where do you see na players not wanting to adopt the eu whitelist? aside from machina it's fine, esea doesn't use it because the whitelist hasnt been updated in years

AptTBH I think we should focus on making league prize pools bigger before we do anything LAN related (not that another huge LAN isn't good), a somewhat similar thought to what warhuryeah brought up in another thread.

Think about how many people would sign up for open with just a $30,000 prizepool. Easy money.

With that being said I'm sure I'm oversimplifying it to an extent, but still.

I don't think Valve would support a paid league (as shown by them refusing to put ESEA medals in.) That could have changed by now but it seems really unlikely to me they would put any money into ESEA. They might for ETF2L but I feel like a tournament is better promotion and the more likely and beneficial of the two options would be Valve support for a major
