#85 Do you PUG? Why/Why Not? in TF2 General Discussion

I used to run in-house pugs all the time. I used to encourage people to always play different classes, no matter how good you are. I had a strict rule-set laid out and had to unfortunately ban some people from playing with us. The biggest issue I've had with my pugs was that the skill levels of different users were incredibly broad, we've had players from ugc silver up to invite. I feel like having that big gap kinda killed it. Another PUG cancer was those people who would micro a team and think they were 100x better than everyone else, and if someone didn't listen to them they would start throwing. Shit like that pissed me off to a point where I just stopped running pugs. Maybe one day I'll bring them out of retirement.

#16 Scout lft ESEA in Recruitment (looking for team)

This guy is a solid sniper and scout. Has a mature personality, knows when to offclass. Never rages, from my personal experience. Give him a tryout!

#32 ESEA Season 16 in TF2 General Discussion

Now that we have so much tf2 going on at once, is tftv going to increase coverage even more? Do they have enough casters/camera men?

#15 UFC in Off Topic
PhasercookieMy boy Stipe Miocic!

Also UFC's hype went down big time over the last year or so... not as fun as it used to be.

Agreed...they've become like the WWE in amount of pay-per-views. On top of that they have 2-3 reality shows (split up between countries), as well as a bunch of live events that. Not that that's necessarily bad, but the way they market every one is that it will somehow have the "best fight ever in MMA". It's just going over the top in showmanship, which isn't what the true fans want anyways.

That being said, forever and always Wanderlei Silva, always gives it his all. Never seen a boring fight from him ever.

My all time favourite: Cro Cop

#19 Google Fiber's 34 Potential Cities in TF2 General Discussion
dashnercookiewish Canada got some love :(
won't happen unless something finally changes with the CRTC's bullshit. Verizon wasn't even able to get in between the juggernauts that are Bell and Rogers.

I pay $110 a month for Internet ($40 more than Google Fiber) and I only get 150/10 internet from Rogers.

The regulations are ridiculous... The owner of Wind Mobile already said he regretted coming to Canada... fack

Nice to see top level players doing so much to help out the community! I've joined an open team to backup on if they need my services. Hopefully those guys do well. 8)

#18 Space Jam 2 in Off Topic
Show Content
Lebron is a good player, but IMO will never be considered the GOAT. The fact that Lebron is a 4 times NBA Finals loser basically cements the fact that he'll never be comparable to MJ. (MJ went to 6 finals... has 6 rings... AND 6 finals MVPs)

^ rant

MJ > Lebron.. Therefore spacejam with MJ > spacejam with lebron
