ok after watching your video all I can say is to disregard my tips and just for bodyshots for a good 50 hours of sniper play time.

how i went from shit at sniper to i get called a hacker in pubs l0l.

1. always go for headshots even if you have a feeling he is lit. Once you get pretty good at landing headshots landing bodyshots seems really easy and cheap. If your accuracy is really bad even while going for bodyshots its ok for you to keep practicing bodyshots.

2. Play on one of those sniper v sniper servers. This will help you with your countersniping which is very important. You'll also feel pretty badass when you take down 4 baddy snipers down in a row.

3. play on maps where you can actually snipe. Here's a list of my favorite maps for sniping:
>pl_badwater (nice sightlines, the ground is bumpy and the terrain is weird at some parts so you cant just let people walk in to your crosshair)
>koth_nucleus (retardedly good sightlines, theres pretty much always something to shoot at, and the flat terrain makes it easy to line up shots)
>cp_gorge (basically the same reasons as badwater
>cp_gravelpit (its my favorite map so i had to put it)
>ctf_turbine

4. Get used to sniping outside of your comfort zone. Try going for some up close and medium range headshots. A lot new snipers try to get as far back as they possibly can, which works, but its nice to be flexible. Pointblank headshots also feel pretty damn awesome.

5. Practice! I have 200 hours on sniper and I still miss easy shots on spun up heavies and people standing still >_<

6. Only use your sniper rifle. I dont care if theres a scout in your face. Try your best to click on his head.

7. avoid servers that have ridiculously bad players that run in straight lines. Unless you're really bad its not really gonna help.

8. Here's what I found works in best in sniper vs sniper. spam strafe keys with some jumping thrown in until while you try to keep your xhair as close as you possibly can to their head. Wait for him to scope in and once he does, scope in and go for the headshot. If he is a decent sniper he probably knows what you're trying to do so he will "fake scope" to try and get you to zoom in so he can have an easy shot on you. This is basically why sniper vs sniper is retarded.
