of votes for a non-permanent ban, ~62% were for 1-2 years and ~81% were for 1-3 years
given the nature of the scene any ban over probably 4 years is effectively permanent (artist's rendition of 4-year ban receiver waiting to play RGL again instead of getting on with their life), and even a 2-year ban will get most people out of the scene permanently
would make more sense to have a 2-stage vote for this—first decide whether bans are permanent, and then decide how long they last, with 1, 2, or 3 years as options
this is the most deranged thing ive ever read lmao
someone sent them the pic of the pig with poop on its balls and they censored it and wrote "Picture of a naked pig and its testticles"
its not a drama thread if cw doesnt come in on page 4 to say something reasonable after a month of not posting
i dont mind having clicked on it
i clicked on the thread
remember when esea had one admin for the whole league, who was asleep about 90% of the time (higher on match days), and there was infinitely less admining-related strife or controversy?
im not really making any specific point here just saying god bless tri
i love privating my steam profile like...you're not looking at my tf2 hours lmfao
more practically speaking, it keeps away scammers and makes sure people irl can't happen upon your hours/2 weeks without u knowing.
also keep in mind a that a lot of private profiles are just on "friends only", also that i'm pretty sure valve made private default in the past couple years, so normie or old accounts are private much more commonly

this seems to be the maps available, mixed feelings on these but hopefully there are more added in the full release
2fort dustbowl badwater what else do u need
honestly this will own if it works, tf2 needs a new casual service much more than it needs a new competitive league
wishmost esports orgs are fine with people casting their matches as long as they don't restream the cast
I know AdmiralBulldog watches dota matches frequently on stream
i dont know about dota or most games really but GOTV is rarely ever given out publicly in csgo, and non-english streams have contracted exclusivity.
the only time you'll see casual casts is at majors, where Valve forces public GOTV, or gAuLeS, who is big enough that he gets to be the exclusive BR stream for most events
BrockGuess I’m just more focused on playing then trying to entertain you or anyone else on the forums.
then stop posting!!!
this is often prohibited or discouraged by major esports casting orgs, but those orgs are directly relying on stream viewership to make money off of sponsors and investors
RGL makes money off of league fees though, if they have sponsors I doubt they're using stream viewership as the KPI
so it should be purely in their interest to encourage "big" streamers to cast games as it will only increase the league's visibility and bring in new players
