You haven't played in seasons and you're on these forums more than anyone else i've seen. No idea what your hard on is for me but I must say it turns me on :)

Possibly. But would it ever happen? No. Arc was replaceable with people like rb, or spadez. Not clockwork/enigma/ruwin/cyzer. It's just the way it is looking from the bottom up to the top. And one of the main reasons the top 2-3 of invite stays the same every season recycling the same players and the lower half either dies or reforms in lower divisions. b4nny did a good job bringing lansky/shrugger/tagg into the mix. b4nny is just a beast though plain and simple. This season should be more interesting than the past couple of ones because of all the people who stopped playing at the end of last season.

I think deeper into things than the ordinary person I guess. One day when you make it to invite you might understand what i'm saying. I think it's pretty obvious with all the people leaving invite. If you don't want to bother thinking outside the box and try to understand what i'm saying that's on you. There's no right or wrong here it's just my thoughts. Have a great day!

I have no filter but at least I speak honestly without sugar coating! I don't think it's moronic, it is what it is. It's mostly opinion and part fact. I really love how you respond to everyone of my posts it's cute. It's an open forum for open discussions no need to get your panties in a bunch. That's what forums are intended for.

As I said there's nothing wrong with you guys always finishing first or second I was just stating the obvious facts. It's not -just- that the other teams feel like they have 0 chance at winning perhaps, it's the fact that they never do win lol.. Forget about seeds. Most people know the seeds are a lot of times fixed to setup advantageous match ups. Again, kudos to a select few who are intelligent. Seedings really mean crap though it's what happens during playoffs, those are the final standings. Since mixup was created when was the last time you guys didn't finish first or second at LAN? That's all I was saying. The competition is always exciting amongst the top 2 teams I feel. Dying is the inevitable unfortunately. I learned that the hard way when I was younger. Like I said though it wasn't a shot at you there's nothing wrong with the way things have gone I was just giving a different look on it from my perspective. How would the NFL be if all the best players were on only a few teams instead of spread around. That's what makes the NFL more exciting because any team can lose on any given day. You're also 100% right that nobody else has stepped up to try to dethrone the top two. Difference I guess is when you're on top and have a roster spot open you can literally hand pick anyone you want and other teams don't always have that luxury which keeps them clawing from the bottom using the second or third best replacements which will never overcome the #1. ie. Moose is out? Lets grab Ruwin. No demo? Lets get TLR to pocket i'll go demo. Don't really see a ruwin/tlr/enigma/clockwork/seagull going to a 6cuties. Different perspective is all this is, nothing more. You guys are going to have a great season. I've always admired your leadership and ability to keep your team strong. You know this though. Having played in invite this is just how I felt at times. How far could we have gone if we had Ruwin instead of Arc? I'll admit though in TFC I did the same thing for a long time. Kept all the best talent on my team to always stay on top. Just the nature of the beast I guess. For those of you who haven't played in invite it's harder for you to understand. If I didn't get promoted and have to work 60 hours a week on top of recently getting engaged i'd be playing against you this season but that's why we decided to do open and enjoy playing for a season with friends without having to grind so hard to compete at the highest level. Makes sense.

Misinterpreted. Every team will need a medic, soldier, demo, and scout obviously. I really meant the 9 best players, main classing, and being split up instead of being on 3 out of the 9 teams in the division. It would make things more interesting to me and more enjoyable going into a season knowing you have a legitimate shot at finishing first as opposed to knowing way before hand you have absolutely no shot at winning. Just my take on it. Wish I actually knew who you were, Hellbent.

Fun to me is winning. Putting in scrims 5 nights a week to finish 2-14, knowing you're going to finish at the bottom.. It just seems like a lot of work for not much return. I don't know how getting rolled 5-0 every game and finishing with less than 4 wins can be really fun. I also don't see how traveling cross country to Dallas for a tournament that you basically pay for can be fun especially if you know prior that there's 0 chance you will win. Just my personal opinion. Seems like a big waste of time and effort.

Anyways lets get away from my pipe dream and back to the very difficult predictions that need to be made for this invite season since we're really not sure how things are going to pan out. Have a good season!

Let me make up a quick example of captains...

1) banny
2) platinum
3) tlr
4) enigma
5) ruwin
6) harbleu
7) seagull
8) clockwork
9) blaze or pure

Then run a draft of some sorts, you're splitting up all the top players who have to draft their teams from a pool mixing and matching around the way they play. It would definitely make it more balanced and interesting. Like I said though, a pipe dream!

Well obviously that's the reality. You play with the people who you're friends with or who you mesh well with. And that's what we have had in invite over and over again every season. Nothing wrong with it I was just sharing a thought. I think the draft thing would be cool and make for a real exciting season because you wouldn't really have any idea on the favorites as we do now. Doesn't seem to realistic though so it was really just a pipe dream of mine.

And breloom ~ there is real money to be had. Except it's monopolized by the same 2 teams every season so nobody else gets a taste. Nothing wrong with it or anything but.. When was the last season plat/banny didn't finish 1-2 in the standings? Making that flight to LAN as a 3rd/4th seed knowing you have almost 0% chance at winning, losing a good amount of money mind you, is probably not very fun. Only cool part about it is you get to hang out with the guys we game with or against for a few days, the experience. I'm a really competitive person who hates to lose so for me to be in that type of situation it would definitely discourage me. Just my thoughts on it.

This is easy... First two might be interchangeable depending on who plays what classes, but their experience, game sense, and team work alone makes them 1-2 without a doubt.

Then everyone else.. Like every season. lol

Basically if you're not on banny or plats team it's a tough spot to be in knowing you have basically 0 shot at being #1. After so many people quit this past season though maybe the teams will mix up a bit more in the future and make for a more competitive invite division.

I feel like invite would be MUCH much more fun to watch if we had 8 captains being formed from the best players as individuals, and do a draft. Then teams would be more evenly balanced and have to really work on team work all over again and deal with the unfamiliar personalities. That would be something i'd actually pay for.

The best mge'ers aren't always even the ones who play 6's competitively. There are unknowns who just mge all day who rape. When Davey was in his prime I saw him beat TLR easily. And toilethumor I forgot about him. These guys never really got into 6's but they would be able to win vs the soldiers at least. Ruwin I think is a shoe in for scouts if he's practiced. Scout dm is weird though it's a little more unpredictable.

For the record I really didn't intend to come off as arrogant. I'd be the first to admit I have an ego as an individual but all in good fun. Better to be genuine than a fake brown noser. I'm not a nasty person by any means. Just wanted to post what our lineup exactly is instead of heresay. I don't think it's a secret that our team looks to be good because of our lineup on paper. As for the haters it's all in good fun. Don't know why but I love getting -fragged. People actually care about my posts! I could honestly care less what someone says who doesn't even know me. Maybe it was from when I whored ammomod mge and crushed some egos like craigs. Or maybe because 2sy_morphiend added me on steam when I posted the recruiting thread and didn't need to accept because we picked up Sal instead. Anywho... I truly wish everyone this season the best of luck and loads of fun. And as I said, watch out for those brazilian teams on the oddball maps!

Looks like tragics and mesrs teams should be strong contenders if they don't go over board with the off classing. We've had a few good scrims with some less-known up and comers too. Getting pumped to start playing for real!
