I don't get how 2000 players are searching nearby with 3800 empty gameservers and we've been waiting for 5-10 minutes minimum in queue.
Same thing for casual...

I'm so glad about the Badlands change.
4 months ago I released an updated badlands that increased cap time and clipped the stairs and now Valve officially changed it.
Would be nice if they could use blockbullet on the railings on middle so that splashing was further improved.
Also, it'd be a good change to remove the collision mesh from railings and replace their collision with playerclip so that railings don't stop rockets in maps like Gullywash last and Badlands lobby/last.

How do I maincall when my flank doesn't talk much?

Start doing more flank based ubers like scout + demo or pocket + scout.
Ideally, you want to uber demo + scout when you push last with uber advantage because you should be expecting a sentry and/or a pyro and have your scout call focus for your demo and call where the sentry is etc.

Last time there were a lot of "advanced" players who didn't have a single match on etf2l/ugc and the admins only approved their applications because of good logs..
I think there will be even more of those players now, but I guess filtering out really really bad players is going to increase the fun of lobbies.

Low-Spec FPS Games?

Get Half-Life 1 on Steam and play HLDM crossfire.
Its really fun and there are always 2-3 populated servers ranging from 10 to over 30 people.
Also, Quake 3 Arena is extremely fun to play even against bots on the campaign.
