How would you recommend backing up a hard drive setsul? I have some of my important stuff backed up online but idk how drop box would feel about trying to upload the contents of an entire 1000gb drive

You're fucked then, in a lot of the matches in the last few seasons the stvs have either been completely down or otherwise broken so there's no option to download certain ones (i.e., games where shade had to view a steam broadcast cause stv was down). It appears that since the first map of the bo3 had the stv issues that the other ones did as well even though you could watch them live.
You could ask players in the match for pov demos because esea automatically records them but they may not give them to you.
TomSkirrett The incentive to play medic is limited imho (it's objectively more fun to deal damage and jump around than hide and heal), so having a weapon that rewards skill in very practical ways makes the class more rewarding to play.
There will always be some generous souls out there willing to sacrifice some enjoyment in order to strengthen those around them, and thank goodness for that.
I can understand where you're coming from but that claim is by no means objective. Don't get me wrong, it is fun to jump around and do damage but there's more to medic than just hiding and healing people lol. I can't speak for others but some of the reasons I play medic is because it gives you a huge amount of control over the pace of the game with ubers and stuff, as well as the fact that you are the most important class in the game and depending on how well you play you can make a huge difference on the outcome of the game (i.e., if you play well and you survive/don't easily get forced/can accurately track ubers, you can turn small advantages into round winning plays, whereas if you play poorly and die all the time/drop uber it can cost your team rounds). Hitting surfs and crossbows/clutch ubersaws and stuff like that is also fun and rewarding.
first off kys this is the most mediocre dh gameplay ive ever seen also the fact that some people actually play with their viewmodel like that actually baffles me
RipTideWhat if the crossbow had a passive stat that made your mediguns heal slower? How would that impact the game?
that would just make people even more reliant on using arrows to heal lol you would just build and do everything besides buffing with arrows and then pull out the medigun to uber
MearlitebearodactylKylo_renNursey may remember s21 lower bracket finals on sunshine when you surfed spam and dropped her in the middle of EVL's last point. Not to discredit what you're saying but nursey played on luca goers in s21 and afaik the only recent time froyo was in the lower bracket finals was when they lost to showstopper in s20, and that season woodpig got fourth so you must be thinking of something else

Not lower bracket finals but he got the right season/map/teams

For some reason I forgot they were the first iteration of EVL that season, probably because I'm so accustomed to thinking of the current EVL which she did play for at one point. That was a nuts play tho wtf that's some medic main on scout type shit lol what a surf.
Tery_I'd be interested in knowing how many active (career) Medics have played since or during the old days when crossbow was irrelevant. I'm pretty neutral either way (because I sure miss using needles) but crossbow does provide something exciting to Medic. I don't think I'd have "less" fun if the weapon was banned but hitting long-distance arrows is one of the most rewarding feelings besides getting an Ubersaw swipe for uber. Guess I'm still torn.
I played a bit (mostly tf2mix/pugna/lobbies/ugc) before the crossbow passive reload buff and didn't mind it but given how accustomed ive gotten to using arrows and how much the meta has shifted towards efficiently utilizing arrows (arrow building, demos getting bowed at the start of mid, etc.) it wouldn't make sense to ban it. I agree with marm and those who said it should get nerfed but at the end of the day that's up to valve and I'm quite pessimistic that they will actually change it (not to mention change it in the right way). Would definitely lower the skill ceiling and make medic a lot less fun/more boring if all you could do was beam people and occasionally try to needle scouts.

viperMoywait neon with the default profile picture? that dude was the shitno, neon charmander from bear's open team with will, spello, and mgib
You're misremembering, that was condescending candlestick, I played with neon in s19 with stoperr ranga will and nick
I really tried to help him get better at the game but he was also like completely against the concept of watching demos because he would just rationalize the same decisions and blame himself for not hitting more shots
Stoperr and I finally got him to look at a demo with us and his decision making was so comically bad that we literally couldn't stop laughing (which triggered him so much he left mumble and said he didn't wanna play anymore, iirc)
After I eventually just gave up and cut him, he decided to make a mediocre frag video from scrims against us and at the end zoomed into the stats where he did marginally better than our roamer who hadn't played tf2 in like half a year (neon also lost the scrim iirc and went severely negative, was outfragged/outdamaged by saam back before he was a scout main which is honestly super embarrassing)
He also had this tendency to lie about his experience, pretty sure a few of his lft threads got completely shit on when people realized he was full of shit. The season after I played with him he claimed to have gotten 5th in open (which we did without him) and when I called him out he changed his claim to 4th since that was our seed at the end of regular season which he played most of (and got carried by literally everyone else on the team)
He was like 15 at the time and everyone does stupid shit when they're that age, but I feel like I have to point this out to tell people what he used to be like lol (didn't really want to derail the thread but I felt I had to, if only to correct viper)
Jynx is a lord tbh
IS THAT THE REAL NEON CHARMANDER BACK FROM THE DEAD???
KTB aka r0cket_wizard is the best gamer dad...
Medic class is already boring af if you removed crossbows im sure 90% of medics would just stop playing the class because it's not fun at all anymore (except for the few who played before the xbow buff i.e., Marxist, lucrative)
I agree that in a perfect world if valve listened to anything we wanted it should get nerfed but realistically, that's not gonna happen anytime soon
Idk about whether or not it would speed the meta up but it doesn't really matter because any good team can speed up and slow down the pace of the game if they want to depending on the situation (i.e., crowns/evl vs mix^)
I feel like the bigger issue is just the way it can swing fights so easily as well as the dumb mechanic that is arrowing a heavy over and over as he gets shot during an uber
