So it's 2 minutes times 2 per team = 8 minutes of paused games guaranteed for each map + the usual LAN delays?
Don't get me wrong timeouts are a great idea, especially for casters, but doesn't that make for a lot of dead time?
nothing guarentees that each team will actually use their pauses (or the full duration of them) and even in your hypothetical worst case scenario it's still not the worst thing in the world
esea allows you to pause for 5 mins each half (iirc) but that doesnt mean every game is delayed by 10 minutes due to arbitrary pauses
in the grand scheme of things 2 minute pauses are a non issue
also its not like the casters just get to take a time out for 2 minutes, they still have to keep talking about nothing for the duration of the pause

as people have said 7 and froyo definitely seem to be the most experienced lan teams and will be hard to beat
evl vs jt should be a pretty good matchup but for the sake of breaking the 4th place curse im going to put jt in 3rd
my heart says to root for cookie jacobson and Mister ProSkeez but the previous evl iterations have always been better online
also corsa is used to playing with 5 ping online but on the other hand, with an evened playing field he will no longer have an advantage over blaze/paddie shooting 80+ ping rockets which gives a lot more time to react and dodge
ive gotta believe in the 20b squad, h5 and marm are nuts and im sure nick/duwatna will perform on lan
its worrisome that they arent scrimming but show and cozen have been pugging a bunch recently which should help shake off some rust
dunno whats up with meat market or who their 6th is, but they are scrimming and putting in the hours so i wouldn't count out the possibility of them getting a few crazy surprise upset wins (skeez perfect game on lan? pog...)
