AvastSo really there isn't an argument to be made because if someone is running a stupid loadout they are are likely:
1. Not trying/trolling thus ruining the pug for others 99.999% of the time.
2. The pug is a roll for/against them and they should be running an actually useful loadout regardless.
I agree with you here for stuff like targe & sticky jumper, but I think it's too far when the white list becomes restrictive to the point that things like dhit/lib launcher/huntsman are banned. For example, the dh isn't used in 99% of esea matches but that is not to say that as soon as somebody equips it they are instantly throwing/ruining the pug or that they deserve to be banned.
It seems to me that a lot of these vary on a case-to-case basis, so in a perfect world the ESEA whitelist would be better because admins are able to judge each individual scenario, but since that's not the case (and nobody is really a fan of constant policing) a pug-specific whitelist is miles easier
flamefade-you shouldn't be using that it's broken anyways, competitive uses the two teams readying up thing. the having individual players readying up was a dumb config that shouldn't be used anymore
false.
Is there any way to make it so that the individual ready up buttons aren't cut off? Last time I checked with rayshud it showed 4 people in the middle of the screen and then about half of two others to the left and right sides (like there's an invisible line cutting it off at a certain x position).
I don't imagine it would be hard to use the default ready up buttons or take them from another hud that works but I'd prefer to keep the ones in rayshud.

Another thing I forgot to mention is being able to pick people on classes they weren't added as. If one captain accidentally picks the only medic left on a non medic class (because it doesn't warn them) there isn't anything that they can do other than end the pug or play medic themselves. In pugme you can just pick someone who wasn't added on medic (as a filler) and then get a sub for them or do some sort of class switching in game.
If you plan on allowing admins to force add/remove people this could be avoided so long as admins are online consistently.
biggest issues imo: 1.) the side bar/menu on the left takes up too much space on the screen (easy fix would to make it hidden with a drop down or along the top) 2.) each individual message in the chat takes up too much vertical space, it would be much more aesthetically appealing if each message were 1 or 2 lines max (could probably remove some of the cell padding, put the date on the same line or just put a little timestamp on the side instead of the full date)
comparing it to pugme it's not hard to tell how much wasted space there is
