As we move into metalworks week, I just want to remind everyone that rosters lock in 1 week. So get all your subs and roster riders on before then! Keep in mind that only 2 people can join a roster per week, so make sure to get all your players on before then

Ghad is correct here, arrow building was nerfed for the most part. Arrows still build uber, but not to the same extent, so the playstyle change that came from them initially stuck around to this day.

Normal scrim days are Sunday to Thursday 9:30 EST until midnight EST. This is the schedule for most "serious" teams.

Just go lft and post in either the lft section of tftv or the rgl forums for lower levels team. And I do mean lower level, like main or below. Side note: RGL divs are invite, adv (now div 1 and div 2), main, IM, amateur, and newcomer. Invite, adv, and main line up p easily with esea invite, IM, and open.

RGL has an HL league and a 6s league, so its the go-to for both formats.

So after i55 2 balance changes occurred. 1st was the Crusader's Crossbow buff which let you build uber off of healing via arrows. 2nd was meds got a buff which let them match their movement speed with a faster target no matter the medi-gunn (previously only for quick-fix). These 2 changes shifted the meta towards scout and away from soldier. People also realized that demos do way more with heals than soldiers, especially since double gunboats became the meta too (double gunboats made it so teams could move faster in transitions).

Best way to see the difference in the meta is to watch the i55 UBF of nR vs froyo and compare it to the i65 UBF of Ascent NA vs Se7en. Specifically watching how the soldiers and demos play.

Okay, so schedule is back on track, now with round robin! Some of you will have rematches immediately, some later, and you'll have to live with it cuz 3 teams died. This will unfortunately limit BYE week's chances at playoffs, but we all have to make sacrifices for the greater good. ATM only week 4 is released, but I'll put the rest up today. I'm gonna also recommend Brandon Sanderson, at least for Stormlight Archive, but with a warning. Those books are dense af and can make reading them feel like a chore cuz he just puts in so god damn much that you barely remember character names, places, or how tf this character relates. Also ALL the inter chapter portions are relevant and you need to remember their names too because they get mentioned. After a certain point its just too much and detracts from the whole experience.

For someone who is like Brando Sando, but idk, "lighter"(?) I'd highly recommend Brian McClellan's Powder Mage Trilogy. He was a student of Brander Sander so Brian is also quality. I prefer Brian over Brandon though because he has the same amount going on (or you're told going on) while being much more streamlined.

Also if we're talking about great fantasy authors and great fantasy works, you have to bring up "Name of the Wind" by Patrick Rothfuss. While the sequel isn't as good and I'm not in a huge rush to reread Name of the Wind, I would still strongly recommend reading it. It's considered one of the greatest modern fantasy works for a reason.

For non-fantasy, Sapiens is amazing and I'm enjoying every page of it. Provides an interesting perspective of the pre-ancient civilizations that is just fascinating to me.

Just because your team is placed into a division does not mean that is the final placement of the team.

Team placements are going to be done May 8th (AKA today) so you'll probably find out in like 12-18 hours what div you're playing

If you throw, you're wasting the caster's time. Also this wasn't some regular season match, but Grand Finals so it was very important to a lot of people. And if the admins don't punish people for doing things like this, it sets a bad precedent for how people can act within the league itself.
