Screwballolbapdaybraekpeople hate change and map picks give people the option to avoid change, this is not the way to progress the map pool.This is so wrong. This should encourage change. If you want to you can ban snake gully and process and only practice the other maps. Gives teams so many options and forces teams to practice more.Meanwhile back in reality we didn't play the new map from last season at all and ended up playing the same 3 maps over and over again. As a matter of fact that was the experience for most of the teams. In the end we ended up playing metalworks 5 times.

the difference is that almost everyone doesn't like cardinal, but propaganda seems to well liked by everyone who played it and the things that they didn't like are being worked on.

DuMmTmbut what would be gained from allowing pointless weapons? More pubbers playing 6s cause they can now use their fav meme weapon? (which already hasnt happened after the first global whitelist) Dev support from the TF2 team that is so dedicated they literally didnt do anything for christmas or fix year old glarring bugs? what progress is being stopped here exactly?
also i dont envy newer open players that have to deal with being memed on by new weapons instead of getting atleast quickly destroyed in games where they can learn from mistakes

yeah that's a fair point. I also dont know if after the tests people are gonna go through with the unbans. All the newer unlocks do remove some small mechanic of the game (cowmangler = ammo management, bonk = risking your life to get info, etc.) which I'm not a huge fan of. Seems like adding those weapons kinda dumbs down the game and makes the time people put in to those small things worthless. Idk if that's good or bad tho. I'm just spitting thoughts out at this point lmao

I think we're overestimating how many people would run stupid unlocks even if they were unbanned.

HellbentThey do play test these things btw it's not just theorycrafting. I think the problem with that is that a lot of people against unlocks aren't even going to play those pugs because they don't want to play with those weapons off the bat.
