#7 vari lft IM scout in Recruitment (looking for team)

Used to have a negative reputation in some circles for various things including tilting baiting etc (back in our first season he didn't really have the problem so this is just what I heard), but lately I've seen nothing but a really strong scout with very very good aim that will continue to do really well in IM. plus to the people that did see him in a negative light, he seems to have changed quite a bit from his first season personality wise

Any interactions I've had with him were great, and if he clicks with your team he's a crazy good addition.

Damn, nice hussle by the Preds. Really good effort to take out such a hot team like Anaheim in the first round.

- Blues over Stars in 5: Dallas is a young, offensively minded team. The Blues are big guys that hit the crap out of their opponents. Even if Dallas takes the first, the impact of STL's heavy-hitting style is going to crush them. Plus, the defense/goaltending combo in STL will definitely match or surpass Dallas' insane offensive talent; Elliott has been a monster in most of the games, and when he is, his team continues to win.

- Sharks over Predators in 5: Predators showed a lot of poise defeating Anaheim, but the Sharks have had a long break and the Preds just finished game 7 tonight. They're going to be tired, and both teams are well-rounded teams, but the Sharks just looked so strong defeating the Kings so heavily, especially considering they had to play against guys like Kopitar.

- Penguins over Capitals in 6: Capitals are an impressive team, but their lack of experience against a Penguins team that is rolling on all cylinders whereas the Caps started to look weaker towards the end of their Philly series (the Flyers hit them pretty hard, the Rangers didn't make the Penguins get hit physically nearly as hard) will be the decider imo. I would've predicted Pens in 5, but the Capitals are pretty resilient and the combination of Ovechkin's god-tier offense and Holtby's otherworldly play (although a bit weaker considering the lack of shots Philly had against them) will definitely outmatch the Crosby/Fleury combo on the other side.

- Islanders over Lightning in 7: This is going to be a good series. Both teams are young, talented and pretty stacked on the offensive line, but I think NY's recent playoff series have left them hungrier to win whereas with Tampa, they've had numerous deep playoff runs in recent history and one has to wonder whether the hockey gods will allow this continued success over and over.

the only correct answer is the blues for the cup

FINALLY st louis will take home the championship they've waited since 1967 for. Figures that the one time they finally believe in brian elliott and keep him in every game is the one where he goes ham and they beat the hawks. I see zero way that a young offensive team can beat the heavy hitting, defensive blues for round 2--minnesota is full of big burly men that host one of the best matchups for the blues since even if they're less skilled than other teams, they play very well against them (see last year). preds for the second round once the awesome anaheim/nashville series ends

TurinGoalies better than him this season? Probably Carey Price (obv, he IS the Canadiens), Schneider, Holtby, and maybe Elliot (this season).

Over the last 5 years? Only Carey Price really.

if you're talking about over the last 5 years then you can't ignore quick even if he's dropped down recently, in peak playoffs he was in the best form of any goaltender that's ever played playoffs

Anyone want to watch any of the games today? NYR is playing soon but I doubt people would come to watch that (work or whatever else) but the STL game at 8 EST is going to be awesome

we need a mumble for tftv hockey fans so we can all watch game 6 and hopefully game 7, this series is getting unreal thanks to god neuvirth

(I'm not at my place so I can't really watch with friends, not to mention I don't have a TV anyway)

Jesus, the Blues are outplaying the Hawks decently enough in this period, but the physicality on st louis's side is brutal. Even when the Hawks are trying to hit them, they just dodge out of the way and hurt themselves a la Tarasenko.

tarasenko is so good it's unreal (so are the blues, they're my cup pick and I'm a big fan of theirs)

#60 chart thread in Music, Movies, TV

http://i.imgur.com/x1E7HUU.jpg

no order except for the tiers, I listened to the top 4 when i was younger and nothing i listened to since then really took as much of a hold. nostalgia i guess

kept it to one album per artist, the only ones that started to drift off and I wouldn't consider real favourites would be So and maybe Wheels of Fire since I like a few songs on those albums

don't make fun of me market :(

brihgtflatlineif i followed that i would run out of artists pretty fucking quickly (im pretty boring musically and i more listen to songs from artists rather than whole albums unless they're concept albums)
idk maybe I'm just weird but I don't get how you can't even think of 20 different albums you listen to or enjoy that aren't all from the same artist

50? yeah that might be kinda hard for someone who doesn't listen to music all the time, 100 even harder, but even a deaf person could probably come up with 20 different albums from different artists if they tried man

if people like music or they want to put certain bands up (floyd is awesome) then they do what they want man, i honestly never understood people judging and even insulting other people for their music taste or the whole "but even a deaf person could probably come up with 20 different albums from different artists if they tried man" really grinds my gears

pure art forms like music, visual art like paintings and sculptures for the most part in my mind should be 100% subjective. i mean people can talk about quality or music tastes and such and it's fine but idk what you said was pretty lame

EDIT: lol I looked at your posts after the first page, that's pathetic dude

also to undermine everything i said kev is the only name i would listen to for objectivity, he just has that air about him

i'll make a chart in a minute

sometimes you just want to listen to something catchy, trying to shame someone for music is pretty lame dude

EDIT: so is looking through their history to try and find dirt on what music they listen to :/
