Update:

Moving the draft back half an hour to 9:30 on Wednesday September 7th. This will be the finalized time unless anyone has any major objections.

I removed any teams that haven't gotten back to me and so currently we have 8 confirmed players (7 registered teams and one hopefully registering soon). I'm willing to cut down to a 10 person league (and obviously adjust the payouts) so if you know anyone who would be interested feel free to invite them.

It's that time of year again and I've procrastinated way too much before making this post. If you were part of the league last year, then I invited you back to join this year. But we do need to fill a couple slots from people who haven't renewed from last year, so I'm looking for a couple interested players.

12 team league. 6 team playoff. Snake draft. 4 key (or $10) buy in to provide some incentive to not tank the season.

Prizes:
1st place: 24 keys.
2nd place: 12 keys.
3rd place: 8 keys.
4th place: 4 keys

Draft is currently set to Wednesday September 7th at 9:00 p.m. EST.

lamefxI'll play but doesn't the 17th seem kinda early? Season opener isn't till like 4 weeks later.

I can definitely wait until later in the season. I'll put out a discussion thread in the league so we can agree on a time.

lamefxAlso, what do you think about an Auction draft? Always liked auctions better than traditional snake drafts.

This is a TFTV league not Draft Kings :P But honestly I think for a casual league like this snake draft is fine.

Added everyone who added me so far.

Also, I'm allowing people to defer payment until whenever the draft is if you don't have the keys right away.

Welcome to the (Un)Official TeamFortress.TV Fantasy (American) Football League for 2015! My name is Xplayer, also known as Qplayer, and I've been asked by Ggglygy to act as commissioner this year. Last year was a lot of fun so I decided to step up and create the league.

#3 Changing settings for demo playback in Q/A Help

Thanks, I've been trying to work with Source Recording Tool, but the issue I've been having is that whenever I load a demo the config for whatever person recorded the demo overwrites any config that I have (including the ones from Source Recording Tool). Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

#1 Changing settings for demo playback in Q/A Help

I'm relatively new to "serious" video editing (i.e. actually caring about how the game looks when I make a video) and I had a few questions about how to obtain certain settings when playing back a demo for video recording purposes. Whenever I play a POV demo back, the game uses the configs and settings of whoever recorded the demo. Ultimately I would like the following settings on the demo when I play it back for recording:

1. Highest detail graphical settings possible (high detail models etc.)
2. Disable HUD but enable killfeed
3. Disable hitsounds
4. Enable viewmodels

How would I accomplish this?

It's not that the demos are crashing, it's that the other players don't move from their positions after startup. I don't play in dx8 but my friend does. I've tried forcing dx8 on my version of TF2 but it doesn't help.

Edit: I'm uploading a video of what exactly is going on when I play the demo back so it's 100% clear.

#1 Demo playback issue in Q/A Help

I've been having an issue playing back my friend's demos and him playing back mine. Whenever I try to play his demos back all the player models remain stuck as they were at the end of pregame except for him. He runs around the map like normal but none of the other players move from their pregame positions and the HUD never updates. I can play any other demos fine and he can play any other demos fine. Is anyone else familiar with this issue?
