This vid is about to set comp scene back by 100 years because of the title alone. As many people have mentioned before, "the ring" implies there are actual, somewhat powerful groups of pedos pulling the strings together. In reality, it's a bunch of weirods creeping on children by using their status or position who rarely if ever work with other creeps.
Also, the reason there are so many known pedos in the scene is because their cases get publicity and those bad actors DO actually get punished by the league. If you're being a creep to people in casual or on some unpopular community server you're likely never gonna get banned and no one will know about your wrongdoings. I've seen such cases myself. However, it's also fair to say that rgl and etf2l haven't been perfect (and I'm being generous) with handling some cases of misconduct in the past. The Nursey one is still insane cuz he/she kept playing with children in official scrims, I believe
And ofc, Tooru does a great job painting the whole scene as pedos or as people who allow that shit to happen which is at best very dishonest of him and at worst straight up harmful to the community. We've already had people making shit up before (like the claim of comp players asking valve to kill caber) and now we also have this vid. The bias and agenda is hard to ignore
