Explain how you managed to get your graphics that smooth, I know how to get the LOD Bias set really high, but how do you get the textures to blend? Is it really high AA?

Not a tech expert by most means, but I think frowny might be right. Download Core Temp and run it while you play, then check the max temps. If you run in windowed mode, try alt tabbing if you can and seeing if there's a temp spike or something. if it turns out to be that, your best bet is checking to see if any of your case fans aren't spinning.

started life as a shitty Dell tower 4 years ago, put like $700 total into it.

Just an oddball problem which I haven't found the answer for- OBS doesn't allow me to use game capture from TF2. When I go to game capture, it shows up in the text box saying that I need to be running thr program as admin to do so, even if I'm logged in as it. If I use 32bit instead of 64 I still get the error for that.
