International Gaming League?

I was just watching the PAX East stream on Twitch when I saw an advertisement for something called International Gaming League. I didn't pay much attention until I noticed that they included a clip of TF2 at the very end. I went to their website and TF2 is listed under one of their supported games, along with Lol, Dota, CS: GO, etc. It looks like it's going to be a ladder system or something like that.
Does anyone know anything else about this? Has IGL contacted anyone in the TF2 community? Would anyone even want to use their system?
