Because people seemed to agree with me in the previous thread: Can we discuss the Solemn Vow? Or at least the reasoning behind keeping it banned?

Pros:
- Gives medics more power to call targets
- Encourages teamwork between Medic and damage dealing classes

Cons:
- Solemn Vow would probably become meta when unbanned. Ubersaw is powerful but less reliable

I personally wouldn't mind it being meta though. I'm all for encouraging teamwork.
Opinions/thoughts?

edit: I haven't used the Solemn Vow in 2 years. I completely forgot it also allows you to see ubercharge percentage on other medics. I guess that's a good reason to keep it banned

Moving on to other games: Been liking Reflex so far. I'm still really bad though because I never played a similar game before. Will probably try Diabotical and Quake Champions.
Maybe I'll try some speedrunning. Child of Light looks like a game I'd enjoy speedrunning after playing it casually and having watched the GDQ run.

As for moving on from this community I honestly don't know if I ever will unless the community is completely dead. I like the people, watching competitive, watching streamers, etc.
Never expected to pick up TF2 and meet so many awesome people and such a passionate community. I'd not leave this community even after quitting TF2.

ETF2L allowed it last season already. It was used like once and nobody cared. It was also allowed at i58 I think? It wasn't worth giving up the Boston Basher for back then and it won't be worth giving up the Atomizer for now

Most unbans are fine though. I've been hoping for a whitelist blacklist like this for a while. Even if it only lasts a season at least we'll have tried.

Any reason for the Steak to remain banned? Don't want medics to get the small hp pack or is there some bug like the dalokah's bar?

It'd be way better if they change the default values.
Things like enabling fov_desired 90, hitsounds, damage numbers, fast weapon switch, etc by default. Maybe even updating the network settings like cl_interp because those are way outdated. These would help all new players a lot more than an updated tutorial. Also it'd take less than an hour for 1 person to do this compared to multiple weeks of work to update the tutorial

For the "no hud" custom hud you can go to Lawena's files if you still have it downloaded. It contains that, default hud and a hp only hud (mostly used for medic frag clips)

2 ghetto ways of doing it if that's too hard:
*cl_drawhud 0 (I think that's the right command. can't check right now) but that might also remove crosshairs which you may or may not want.
*have the scoreboard up and do hud_reloadscheme. Removes hud elements like hp and ammo until you hud_reloadscheme again

I rarely kill people after we win a round. Feels unfair to kill someone that can't fight back. I usually just ignore them but sometimes I stare them down as they run away. That'll show them.

I'm obsessed with making/editing VTF crosshairs. I sometimes just edit opencrosses to make multiple versions with varying gap sizes until I find the perfect one for me. And 2 days later I don't like that one anymore so I start the entire thing over

I don't have taunt bound so whenever someone wants to highfive in pubs I taunt by manually typing in the console command

A friend of mine updated prismhud recently, another friend combined bwhud and omphud and updated them.

Perhaps people are discouraged to make new huds with all the 'recent' updates to hud files with the addition of MM? Most likely not the main reason but it probably contributes to the problem

Until then attempting to invite someone does not work.

The reason for invites being disabled is that the faceit team wishes to focus on improving the service before inviting more people to play an unfinished product.
They're considering adding a class system so people don't end up playing classes they're not comfortable with. But faceit doesn't have a similar adding up system for another game so the dev team would have to code it from scratch
