Don't get me wrong, I was hyped but I can't help it but feel... disappointed. Especially compared to the pressure OW is bringing.
Lets be honest here this update doesn't really change much for any of us (us being the seasoned 6s players) We still got ETF2L and ESEA. This just helps the pubbers get into comp more then anything.

Bowser5If the players pioneering 6v6 removed class limits and were more lenient on weapon bans from the beginning it would've thrived a lot more with the rest of the 'casual' player base. Highlander is the symptom of the 6's community being too narrow-minded, not the cause of 6's having a relatively smaller scene. If you want more people to play your game and watch your competitive format you have to appeal to casual players to some degree.
I assume that you never played with double nat heavy on yukon last or double gunslinger engy on gpit or grans but fuuuuck that noise. Try and play that shit then we can talk about not needing class limits or weapon bans.
Tbh newbie mixes have had plans to do something like this for about a year now we just never got around to actually putting it together. If you need help and wanna do it we would be more then heppy to help.

See the thing is if teams are smart they will be shit in scrims 80% of the time because they are trying new things and playing risky. Scrims are to see what works. They are not fucking matches and they mean nothing.
