sorry, was on vacation and just saw a message that dMenace sent to me about this thread.
I don't have the video, and I've never talked to the guy who made the video. It was some guy on 20ID's Battlefield team or something from like 2008, but I don't remember his name.
i've played a lot of tekken 7, super street fighter 2 turbo, street fighter alpha 2, street fighter 4, and ultimate marvel vs capcom 3. i've played a decent amount of GG xrd, but i honestly hate how strive plays. probably won't get strive (for now).
i'm down to play whoever on fightcade or parsec. t7's online netcode is fine to play on as well.
I got banned randomly about a year ago, so I asked zeekaptain what the deal was.

Seanbud wasn't in the shrugger video at all. That was all Ascent with Tagg ringing for a couple of nights. I was the one who said a lot of the dumb shit, lol. Tagg took down the video like three years ago, and I doubt he'll ever make it public again.

TMG has been rescheduled to October 8-10 of this year, but will not have RGB LAN this time around.

Yomps was an incredible dude. He could fit in to any crowd because his personality was just so likable. It's so difficult to process this right now, but I will miss him.

Really hope they add an option for input-based matchmaking soon. h3 is fun, but it can be really frustrating playing against controller players that consistently 4-shot with BR due to aim assist. Aim assist is extremely strong.
bearodactylis there any way to get tickets and then potentially get a refund later if you decide not to risk it? Or would it be possible to purchase tickets later on closer to the event date itself? Maybe they sell out or become unavailable because planning/estimating how many people there will be, but would be a nice option to have.
If you're not sure if you want to go, just don't buy your ticket until you're sure. With the pandemic happening and all, I'm pretty sure the LAN won't sell out (which is understandable). TMG's website says they can't do refunds, but can transfer tickets to future TMG events.
I mean, it'd be a pretty shitty thing of me to not report to everyone if the LAN was cancelled, lol.
As of right now, it's still happening. Unless TMG and/or RGB LAN staff make a judgement decision within a few weeks based on the pandemic, then we're still on. I promise you that I'm not withholding any information about this.
