What they should have done was explicitly state which week(s) would require multiple BO3s to be played. Honestly, this should have happened at the start of the playoffs - specifically, UR1 and UR2 should've been doubled up on since no team would face elimination from losing those sets. That way now that there are only four teams left, the pacing is roughly matching all the other divs and teams aren't being rushed into this complete dumpster fire of a situation.

And I will say for the millionth time: top six double elimination for this division was such a mind-boggling stupid idea. Like top 16 for Main and IM was already dumb, but then they just doubled down and said "yeah but how can we make these playoffs even WORSE?"

Almost as if having top six double elimination bracket playoffs for a 14 team division was a terrible, terrible idea.

The Newcomer division has one more semifinal to play out and you'll be watching #2 zxcv host #6 Ice Cream Technology at 9:30 EST. These teams met at the very beginning of Season 3, with zxcv defeating ICT by the score of 5-1 on Gullywash. Both squads have grown considerably since then, and we'll find out who will earn their spot in grand finals against the #1 seed Sweaty Spaghetti.

Both Intermediate semifinals are happening tonight! BLANCTV will be providing coverage for #2 rolling90halalcrips vs. #11 ur pissed. The higher seed rolled through the season with some names you may have seen in MixChamp lately (xlrr and mudkip). Meanwhile, ur pissed have been on a warpath this postseason, taking out the #6 and #3 seeds to make it here. Certainly an impressive run given their 9-7 regular season record. They also have Mr. Power Rankings man himself in wbacon, this time on Scout. Rolling90halalcrips took a 5-1 victory over ur pissed as part of an eight game winning streak. The winner secures a spot in grand finals, and will meet whoever wins between #1 7gull and #4 Lobsters.tf. Seeyou at 10:30 EST tonight.

Hello!

It appears unlikely that BLANC Esports will make a S4 campaign. Therefore, I'm a Medic free agent now. I realize that it has literally been six years since I was on a team where I wasn't captaining and/or maincalling (ESEA S17). So if I can find a new home where I can just take a backseat and do the healing thing, that'd be much appreciated. Ability-wise I think that I'm in the top-Main to low-Advanced range (really don't think Div.1 and Div.2 will exist next season) but I honestly care more about the team atmosphere and environment than skill level. All my relevant history is pretty much with BLANC Esports across ESEA, RGL, and RGB LANs.

I will continue to spend the next two weeks covering as much playoffs as possible, but I can work in the early timeslot of 9:30 EST and the like.
