Has anyone else noticed this? There's a lot of new articles on the wiki revolving competitive play, including map call outs in badlands and such.
I know comp.tf had most of the callouts and what not covered, but this is on the official tf2 wiki.
Update 2.2.1:
+ Added support for the Gunmetal update
+ Moved Engineer metal to under his ammo
Unfortunately, I am unable to get the dropdown list from right clicking users in the scoreboard to work. Please notify me of any other issues that you may find laying around in this update.
JBStaticVoidJBWhat is most likely to cause crashing on launch after the update?A lot of font values related to languages were changed in sourcescheme. There could be an issue there if you are using a language other than English.
Added all the new files.
Tried that.
Deleting my mainmenuoverride.res makes it work, any specific things I should check in there?
Well the main menu had a lot new features, and there's a competitive button that was added to the .res file. If you look here, and scroll down the the mainmenuoverride.res it will show what Valve changed/added.
Also, has anyone figured out how to make the right click dropdown list in the scoreboard work yet? I've been unable to get it to work in my HUD.

that link heads to the 4v4 league ranks now :(
I honestly consider a HUD its own when the creator started basically from scratch, and didn't just make modifications to an already finished HUD.
mousiopeif its a mod will always be a mod, cant really call it yours imo
Pretty much the best way to look at your question.
MaxillawsDid you possibly mute them at one point or another?
When you mute someone if they are mic spamming or what ever it also hides their chat messages
wattersonhave you filtered them by accident? your chat window should have a little filter button if the hud hasnt removed it. check to see if you have one or more selected.
No and no
BumFreezeHappening to me too, also some random chat messages don't come through even when I haven't muted that person. All my friends say they can see it when we are playing together but I can't :/
This is pretty much my problem.
So lately there have been some messages in TF2 chat that I am not receiving, i.e. player connects/disconnects, player chat messages (both team and all chat). I only know I'm not seeing them because a friend will sometimes laugh at what someone typed in all chat but I won't see the message myself.
My friend referenced this being linked to a console command, but the only chat-related console command I know is hud_saytext_time, and that's not the issue. If anyone knows the fix to this, that'd be nice. It's minor, but it bothers me.
Bunch of bug fixes:
Update 2.2.0
~ Changed the Advanced Options text in main menu so that it didn't get cut off in lower resolutions
~ Fixed the scoreboard so it doesn't look broken in lower resolutions
~ Fixed cart recede time being cut off
~ Fixed Huntsman & Jarate Item meters not being even
~ Fixed two briefcase icons showing up in doomsday
~ Fixed engineer pickup icon remaining in the targetID while spectating
~ Fixed briefcase location on spectated player
+ Added icon for melee powerup in Mannpower
+ Made HUD animations take longer in hopes of fixing the bug where health is red upon respawn
I've been having some trouble finding an animation file, and I can't find the file that changes it.
I want to change the rectangle that appears while capping, shown here, and I want to change the rectangle that comes down over the cart whenever you start pushing it, shown here.
They're listed in vgui_drawtree as CapPulse and EscortHighlightSwoop respectively, but I can't seem to find them when searching for them in Notepad++. I just want to know what file changes them both, thank you.
I would love to play Ultiduo.

So yeah, I'm surprised no one's really been discussing this here. Valve promised Source 2 for early Spring, but it appears that they are now getting around to finally releasing it.
There's been two minor updates since 2.1.7 that I figure I should mention:
Update 2.1.8
~ Adjusted the Killstreak Leader label in the winpanel so that it is centered
- Removed the "You came close to your previous best" messages
Update 2.1.9
+ Added higher quality item images in inventory & loadouts, credit to wiethoofd for the find
This is a very nice find! Going to add it to my HUD, thanks for this
