after the changes to sv_pure I cant get sv_pure 0 when I watch a demo. Ive tried -sv_pure 0 in my launch options but it changes when I launch the demo
I also tried to edit pure_server_full.txt to allow custom materials but that didnt work either
any ideas?

I felt like learning to ctap so I made a quick map for it with a few stages to practice it. Thought some people here might be interested in it.
Stage 2 is the same distance as jumping from ramparts to ramparts on granary middle. Stage 3 is the same distance from patio to the top of spire in badlands yard.
from walking around the map it seems that whole passageway system thing on mid is far too claustrophobic
I think should try to open it out a bit

Look in your steamapps/common/Team Fortress 2/bin for hammer.bat. Run that.

I dont know the command but I know you change it in advanced options by waiting as it increases and decreases in the multiplayer options
you improve quickest in teams and it's likely you wont be accepted into a more skilled team with no team history
my advice is to look for the keenest div6 team you can find and play a season so you can get some proper experience
increase the wide value of the crosshair entry
those BB jumps arent done very well

Hmmm... I used to have a desk mic couple years ago but no-one could actually hear me. I also don't fancy taping a cheap shirt mic to a new headphone! I have a wireless AKG but it's not that comfortable and annoying at lan (batteries, extra power plug) although it sounds great.
Considering that, it's either: buy a professional microphone with tripod and a headphone (expensive), or a "normal" headset like a new siberia V2 (cheaper)?
