#155 Stabby talks class balance in TF2 General Discussion

Why does everyone want to put class limits on mm? On serious matches, you always see something different being played and it spices up the game compared to the meta.

#53 Kotaku article on TF2 mm in TF2 General Discussion

Of course the comments are going to be like that because
1.its kotaku, you have to be genuinely retarded to visit that website for anything remotely informal/news worthy
2.The competitive community and pub community are basically 2 entirely different entities that hate each other. The competitive community hates the pubbers because they don't actually play the game nor give a fuck about improving and would rather spam lennys and sit in a trade server trading hats for 10 cent profits because apparently that was always fun in tf2. the pubbers hate the competitive community because they actually give a shit about the game and aren't autistic enough to care about fucking cosmetics and sitting in spawn congaing like a downs child.

#12 Scout Movement : Standing Still in TF2 General Discussion

the thing about 1v1 battles is that every person has a different reaction to different moves. Sometimes, the most basic movements can outplay someone that has trained themselves to only practice specific movements. you got scouts mains that do nothing but MGE expecting MGE movements and play styles in scrims and matches, only to get destroyed when the other scout does something simple and basic, but was completely unexpected by the MGE scout since he wasn't practicing for it. If you have ever seen seasoned fighting game players with years of meta experience lose to brand new players that literally spam any button on the controller, its a similar situation. An extremely basic way of playing that is so outlandish and simple compared to the complex play styles that he is used to, that he simply isn't prepared for it and crumbles as a result..

#45 Cool new hobbies in Off Topic

I picked up cars as a hobby about a year and a half ago since all my hobbies involved me staying inside my house all day, and I wanted to do something new. In the beginning, it was daunting since it was a rather expensive hobby do with track day costs, tires, tools and equipment and everything in between. It was also a completely social hobby, which was different then hanging out with my usual types of nerds/geeks. The thing that I've enjoyed the most out of it is being struck into a conversation with complete strangers out of nowhere and talking on end about what we have planned for our cars and what we want out of them. It's helped me become much more comfortable with talking to people that I would have otherwise never interacted with.

#39 b4nny likely stream matchmaking tonight in TF2 General Discussion
Screwballthe301stspartanScrewballAre Redditors really that bad as to think the Phlog is OP or is this just a meme?
it's really good in pubs though after the buff
It is only good in the sense that it take little skill to kill people who have little skill with it.That doesn't mean it is OP. It means nerds need to GIT GUD instead of whining about a pyro with no airblast.

People always complain about phlog pyro
but they don't even know how to fight it. When they see a phlog pyro, they always go head forward, never higher ground or anything that might take a bit of game sense.
They whine, moan and bitch when being spawned camped with it yet they ALWAYS WALK OUTSIDE RIGHT AFTER SPAWNING

you got 12 retards trapped in a spawn and none of them are smart enough to build uber.
