I wish I had time to play a season

I really am looking forward to this new league, and perfect timing as well. Though it concerns me that the league is free to play.

Why not incorporate a pay-to-play and have a prize pool? You will certainly bring in more teams (a lot more teams) in a paid league.

Will the ladders always be there, constantly in the background, and then the league comes up once or twice a year? So after a season of league, can teams continue to climb the ladder year round?

EDIT: If you incorporated two ladder systems, one paid and one free ladder, you would draw in funds during off season, as well as create a ladder system for more dedicated players. There would be more incentive for players to actually use the ladder system (rather than letting it go by the wayside during off season) and there could be a cash payout (or perhaps paid league fees) based on your teams performance in ladder system.)

What is the spectating going to be like? Will there be a client for STV's, or will it be a livestream cast? Will viewers be able to choose who they want to watch, or is at the hands of the cameraman?

I agree, I will not be running the ESEA client & paying premium now that S13 is over.

I'll be taking this slip up as an opportunity to stand against the problems I've had with ESEA before, and I will register for a new league in the coming seasons.

My full support with be going to whichever league I feel has the best intentions for TF2 and the community, and is not solely in Esports for financial gain.

This wasn't really FOR anything. Just something to show the rate at which the community of comp TF2 is growing
