i only use it for spawn timers and sometimes health if i want to see if my team is healthy before a push or something, which has been pretty useful for me
i'm a tab spammer aswell even if i have this on so i don't really use it to check who's alive or dead

honestly i don't think i've ever needed to know which one of my soldiers or scouts spawned, just needed to know if a scout or a soldier respawned
that's why i generally dislike the huds that make the match hud really big and wide so that they can fit in the name of the player right next to the healthbar/player icon

i like both maps from the times i've played them
yes they aren't perfect but process, gully and snake aren't perfect either. no matter if we are talking about the first version or the final valve approved version of those maps

it can be frustrating and confusing for some people playing these maps since we're all so used to playing the same 6ish maps we've been playing for like 4+ years and suddenly we have to learn maps we've never played before by ourselves with no real guide on how to do so, but playing in these maps in pugs or just simply booting up an offline server and running around in them to learn the routes and rooms is fun
