#49 Your favorite game(s) in Off Topic

Touhou.

No but I also really enjoy a lot of Single player games like the Shin Megami Tensei series, and Okami.

Basically I'm just a fanatic when it comes to RPG.

Accidentally hit an airshot, play it off like it was skill.

#12 YOUR ONE STOP GUIDE TO STEAMPIPE in TF2 General Discussion

Sprays are still working fine for me.

Check your config and advanced settings to make sure you actually have them enabled?
Also it could just be that said servers disabled sprays

Maybe an EU server section?

kawaiibtw it doesn't have to be userstuff. I'm getting the feeling everyone names it userstuff. it can be anything

Indeed it doesn't. But practically every online tutorial says that, so changing it for another tutorial could confuse newer people.

I personally don't name mine Userstuff.

Materials also go in to custom/userstuff.

In essence, you treat the UserStuff folder as if it was your old tf folder

#1 YOUR ONE STOP GUIDE TO STEAMPIPE in TF2 General Discussion

Because I'm seeing like 9001 threads all asking the same questions about Steampipe, I was hoping someone would make this thread.
Nobody did.

Here I will be covering all of steampipe issues I can remember from the top of my head, more will be added as they pop up.

Problem: MY CUSTOM STUFF ISN'T LOADING.
Answer: Easiest answer I can give: http://i.imgur.com/IRWGEox.png

Problem: Steam is crashing when I try to convert!
Answer: Just leave it alone. It will stop responding for about 10 minutes and then start converting. Patience is a virtue.

Problem: Certain textures are just white lines/some models show "ERROR".
Answer: This is a bug that currently happens if you load the same map twice in a row. Just restart TF2.

Problem: TF2 is crashing whenever I get to the main menu
Answer: Verify game integrity and put your HUD in the right place. (See problem 1)

Problem: My custom HUD isn't showing fonts/console
Answer: Delete sourcescheme.res in the resource folder

Problem: My hitsound still won't work!
Answer: Make sure you make a Sound folder, and a UI folder inside of there. Put hitsound.wav in the UI folder

Problem: I don't know where I should put my Configs, Steampipe made a cfg folder inside of tf.
Answer: It did that for the sake of convenience. All Configs now go in the custom/cfg folder.

- More to be added when I can think of more -

#3 TFTrue in Projects

When my server runs TFtrue it just keeps going offline, refusing to start up.
The only other things installed are through sourcemod, are they conflicting?

Edit: Yeah they were conflicting. Removed sourcemod and it's working now.

#14 Demos are stuttering in Q/A Help

Mess around with your lerp.
Since demo's have no restriction on cl_interp, whereas most servers do, you're playing the demo back in a different lerp to when you recorded it.

Just mess around with it until you're playing it back at the lerp in which you recorded it.

#11 another steampipe thing in Off Topic

I had something similar, apprently it's related to your hud.

Verifying game integrity fixed it for me
