#3 Viewmodel Help in Q/A Help

EDIT: It appears I was ninja'd by Botmode.

Well it's possible, as long as you don't use Quickswitching or the scroll wheel changing.

Personally I pull my Melee out with 3, so I bind my 3 key to turn viewmodels on and pull out Melee. And my Q and E keys (Primary and secondary) to pull their weapon out and turn models back off.

It's incredibly simple to write up yourself.
Mine looks like this

bind "q" "slot2;r_drawviewmodel 0"
bind "e" "slot1;r_drawviewmodel 0"
bind "3" "slot3;r_drawviewmodel 1"

Simply change to keys to whatever you'd want to use to draw that weapon.

#1 Strange monitor issue in Hardware

So a couple days ago, I turned my PC on to find that my Monitor has a strange blue tinge.
But it's only when dark colours are on that area. (Which sucks when I'm trying to play a darker map like Badwater_Snowy).

Here's a couple photos of my monitor running plain white, plain red and plain black.
http://imgur.com/a/shAwx
You can't see any tinge at all over the white, it's barely visible on red, and it's in your face on black.

Anybody know what could have caused this?
Any chance I could fix it/get it fixed?

It's also 100% a monitor issue. When I took the VGA cable out, it still had this tinge on the "No input deteced" screen.
Thanks in advance!

#4 TF2 Crate of Suggestions in TF2 General Discussion
Rabikul-A bind list that makes switching between one player to the next a key press away.

This is already a thing. I forget his name, but somebody released a casting .cfg that changes the 1-6 keys to be BLU players, and the q-y keys be RED players.

It's extremely useful, so maybe a 'built in' system that doesn't require the use of a .cfg would be good.

#2 Demos in TF2 General Discussion

When did it stop working?
It broke a while ago, and then a fix was released.
If you don't already have the latest version, download it :D

If you DO have the latest version, try re-installing it?

#10 Unprofessional behavior from ESEA admin in TF2 General Discussion

I don't think everyone here is totally understanding the situation.

The match HAD to be played by 10:30, by that time they can forfeit their opponents.
Their entire team was in the server before 10:30, the opponents weren't.
They gave them 45 minutes past the deadline, but they still didn't make it.

The forfeit was totally viable, and yet the guys who 'won' are getting the short end of the stick by being forced to replay a match that, by the rules, they already won.

As a Euro I'm not 100% sure about how ESEA run their operation, and whether or not they had some good reasoning behind forcing the replay, but I personally find it to be pretty harsh.

#17 It's coming... are you ready? in Off Topic

My girlfriend set up a double-date with us and her friends, whom I have never met before.
Needless to say, I'm not incredibly enthusiastic.

#4 over edits in Off Topic

This is something I started work on, I've not gotten around to finishing yet.
I know it's not TF2, but it's really the closest thing I've made to it.
It's unlisted right now.

#4 Vector vs fully torqued the final moments in TF2 General Discussion

Also the original cast had a lot of frame drops at this point. It's nice to watch it without the lag!

#4 mumble overlay with obs in TF2 General Discussion
MR_SLINUse game capture from OBS on your TF2, but run your TF2 in windowed mode.

I do this, but the Mumble overlay still doesn't appear for me :c

#2 mumble overlay with obs in TF2 General Discussion

Do you mean so that OBS also shows your Mumble overlay?
If you're using direct game capture (Which I assume you are) then you'll unfortunately not be able to capture the overlay.
I can suggest adding a small screen region on the overlay, but that would probably look messy. Optionally you can just capture TF2 with the screen region option, but that gives quite a performance hit.

Really there's no GOOD way to do it, that I've yet to figure out at least.
Does DXtory capture the Mumble overlay? If it does, you could use DXtory and it's directshow function to stream. A lot of streamers find DXtory to be a better option anyway.

#10 TF2 Weightloss? 3 Easy Steps! in Off Topic

The flaw in this plan, Mr Lykn, is that the better you get at DM, the less you'll actually be working out!

#5 Pyyyour???? in TF2 General Discussion

From what I gathered by watching DJC's stream and an episode of Fully Charged.
FT (Sean and Brad especially, citation needed) got annoyed with being casted, for some reason that is yet to be made clear. An argument happened between Sean and (I believe) cbear, and drama went down.
What is assumed to be a result of that, Brad went and privatised all of his Youtube and Twitch stuff, and refuses to have any of the matches publicised, and FT are refusing to play on the Thursdays that they'll have ESEA TV running.

Note: Don't take this for fact and/or hold me to it. I'm just saying what I can remember from being said in streams. I am unaware of any further developments etc

#18 Your first match? in TF2 General Discussion

A disaster.
I was mercing in ETF2L Highlander for a team that had little-to-no commitment to TF2 at all. It was literally a team comprised of LoL players.

The calls were a disaster, and I got MVP for my team both rounds. As Spy. With at least twice as many points as the Medic.
I'm not saying I'm good... They were just horrible.
