#863 Donald Trump in World Events

Even if you dislike or disagree with Trump, surely you can see that this is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to rip out the entire corrupt and broken system by it's roots and start over? Trump is going to end career politicians and big money in politics, that alone makes him a better candidate than the Goldman Sachs puppet alternative in my mind.

#43 Turkey soldiers launch 'illegal action' in World Events

"This uprising is a gift from God to us because this will be a reason to cleanse our army."
He literally said that. Yet, no media outlets here are putting any of this into question and blindly following the narrative of the turkish government. How fucking gullible can people even be, jesus christ

#45 Terrorist attack (IS claims attack) in Nice, France in World Events
_DR34M_You have to know dude islam is not even fucking associated with ISIS and isis are outsiders and they claim to be muslims but theyr not

Only someone in complete denial can say that someone killing people while shouting ALLAHU AKBAR or calling the police beforehand to confirm their allegiance to ISIS and Islam are not muslims

I think it's because France is the country in continental Europe most likely to strike back. IS live off of reactions to western interventions in the muslim world to fuel their campaign. France is already involved in military campaigns in Mali, for example, and is generally believed to be the most hawkish country in continental Europe. They're trying to provoke a french retaliation they can use in their propaganda.

Are you saying we should just turn the other cheek then? This shit keeps on happening. We should show them what happens if you keep poking the lion

You might not be racist if you're anti-immigration, but you're supporting a policy that racists are for 100%. It doesn't mean you're wrong, but its worth considering what that means about your argument

Let me see... Nothing? No belief exists that hasn't been supported by any people with questionable morals, both on the right and left side of the spectrum.

eeeHow is leaving the EU going to affect quotas? You do realize why there are fishing limits right? All you've done is remove yourself from the governing body that was imposing those limits, you haven't removed the need for fishing limits. If you start fishing more as a "fuck you" to the EU, you'll just overfish the channel and shoot yourself in the foot (which seems to be a common theme here). If the fishing limits were so unfair, why is your idea to say "fuck fishing limits" instead of trying to change the EU or negotiate with France? The level of subtlety and political insight in your posting is pathetic, you think like a literal child. I don't even mean that to be rude, I'm being 100% serious when I say your understanding and interpretation of the situation is so shallow that it genuinely feels like a child trying to wrestle with it.

Or maybe he just thinks that the british fishermen should be the ones fishing in the british seas, and not frenchmen and spaniards? It's ridiculous, they don't let us mine the swedes ores because we don't have any.

#7 3 months after the radius nerf in TF2 General Discussion

This nerf really nerfed kritz in general too, which I think is sad.

Also, it's generally harder to make big pushes in Highlander now, which I think is a shame, since being slowed down was the last thing the gamemode needed.

Overall it isn't as bad as I had expected though
