#1 You guys were right. in Off Topic

Admittedly, The ETF2L community is right about me. I'm a pretty toxic guy as i stands, I can honestly say playing other competitive games i have no problem and no toxicity there. When it comes to TF2 from the day I started playing to this day where I stop I had a burning passion and I always wanted to win which was a bad thing because an ego sprouted on that day and created the "Toxic Asshole" you all know as "Offside / Cydia". I accept the fact of this and am going to quit which I assume people will be pleased about but I feel like I owe a lot of people that did nothing wrong and got toxicity back from me an explanation.

I'd like to apologise to everyone out their who I've been toxic too, I wish you all the best of luck and have a great year.

DuMmTm1. Never use the words of my son Rob "KoreanBBQ" Moermann out of context for your personal gain, let alone defend a cheater, offside (or whatever your next alias will be now that you are dragging your 2nd one into the dirt as well)

2. Thanks to the AC team, i used to give them shit for taking a long time in the past so im glad this is handled quickly and consequently especially given what lovely human beings everyone involved turns out to be, keep it up.

3. Dunno if DigWar still supports your 6s team at all but i doubt they would want to be associated with any of this.

Be my guest all of these are ry's povs since we first started playing go watch them all and tell me he cheats, The fact you haven't watched a single demo and you feel you can comment on anything is almost laughable

Remove the slash & best of luck finding anything conclusive.
How on Earth ETF2L found anything justifiable is beyond me.
Yes, there are a lot more demos than they even had access to.
They had 6.

I don't even know this guy lmao

lexkicks01Your argument that he was "sandbagging", and therefore should be banned is irrelevant. In fact, it doesn't even correlate with the rules of the league. He rightfully qualified for The Fresh Meat Challenge, whether you like it or not. Rules are rules, and that's all that matters. Ry was banned unjustly for the wrong reasons - full stop.

I quote from the man himself.

I dunno why I keep wasting my time with this, but oh well.
Suppose this is my 1,000-word statement about it.

If you care & or wish to be more informed about the situation, simply go to my Steam profile & read the comments.
For some background, I have been playing TF2 for a good part of a decade. I have had multiple Steam accounts over the years but have never intentionally used an alternate on a competitive platform. The account many people point to is/was hijacked & I found myself continuously signed out. I had no control over it & Steam was relatively unhelpful @ the time. I might as well make another to keep myself safe, right? I didn’t bother contacting ETF2L at the time, but eventually I had all my statistics swapped from my old ETF2L account to my new one. Hence, this resulted in the old one being “blacklisted”. You can tell this is true because my “aimbot” account is 6 years old despite the Steam account only being 2~.

I have been interested/watching TF2 competitively since roughly i43 which I attended in person to spectate. I was young at the time & it looked like a lot of fun. The same applies to i46. Given that, I never got into a team nor decided to devote myself to play scrims/mixes. I didn’t have a very good PC (have an old Dropbox w/ some very, very old screenshots on it) & was limited by what I could/could not play. Some may know me from a while back from the alias ‘PixL’ as I used to frequently join a competitive cp_orange/dm servers with ETF2L members on it. Upon hearing about HOI & others potentially giving the original FMC a go, I decided I’d try it with some friends. We didn’t do particularly well & the meta was horrific (Vaccinator). I didn’t find it particularly fun & so didn’t continue taking an interest. One of these people decided to give competitive TF2 another go in S32 & I hesitantly tried lending a hand. FMC2 was announced & I felt if I was ever going to play, I might as well do it now. It’d also be a good way to get into contact with Mid+ players so I could theoretically skip playing in Open/Low for a season if I did well. Funnily enough, I was doing too well & we’ve got the situation I’m in now, haha.

ETF2L has banned me over 2 POV demos across 1 official I played Scout by using an outdated algorithm without reviewing the demos properly themselves. This is well documented in the quad case I have listed on my profile. If they properly reviewed demos, the opposing team would have been given a warning about using 2 Pyros on Gullywash Last.

I know this for a fact because UGC requested the evidence to mirror my ban—were shown the two demos—but realised ETF2L were making a mistake & stopped short of doing so. UGC themselves are NOT banning me because they themselves do not trust the ETF2L AC team; they are misinformed.
This is why the wider community should seriously question what ETF2L is doing &, honestly, how untrustworthy the league & the admins are. I think it’s perfectly reasonable that each & every ban (given how infrequent they are) has its evidence & process made public. However, ETF2L are unwilling to do this to any great length as it would expose their downright reliance on, well, a sketchy bot.

No, I do not cheat nor intended to ruin the league. The admins are clearly inadequate & have been for years. I’m sorry if I’ve ruined the FMC for some of you, but the onus is not on me for simply playing the game. I will be—most likely—attending i65 to prove ETF2L are both incapable of managing a league & headed by morons.
Aoshi & others straight-up brand players “cheaters” without any proper understanding of cheats, how they operate & are coded. Simply put, they rely on outdated toolkits developed years ago by someone (see quad pastebin/article). I sincerely doubt they even have any experience using & investigating a cheat; a core principle of being on an AC team.

They show no proper understanding of how various forms of aim assist (aimbot, aimkeys, triggerbots, etc.) function nor are willing to have a proper conversation with me about it. Unfortunately, for those who do possess this knowledge, you are headed & overruled by egotistic, arrogant people who are unwilling to put their pride to one side for a minute. They went out on a whim, took a random guess & attached the “aimbot” tag to me.
So, because of this I am going to make all my P-RECs publicly available to download from my Steam profile. I would genuinely be impressed if you could find anything remotely concrete… because there is nothing. Do note ETF2L potentially reviewed a maximum of 6 & only 6 demos… 4 of these were on Demoman. You have roughly 30 or so to look at; take that into consideration.

Anyway, ETF2L continues to act under a banner of secrecy when it comes to bans for an upsetting reason: they are just as clueless as any other player. They appoint random, highly-respected players (e.g. Byte & Bash) to take the brunt of false accusations when they screw it up. They are not experienced, well-informed people with a background in cheat development, detection & management. They hope that the wider community will simply swallow what they say & that’ll be that. Sadly, most people seem happy to accept that but I’m hopeful my case can highlight the broken system of ETF2L."
