Try and make friends with the other people in newbie mixes (or tf2mix); finding people you like playing the game with is just as important as the coaching.

Chill team and fun to play with (source: rang med for them and didn't feel awful afterwards).

I don't think this is something that would necessarily conflict with newbie mixes. If you've read any of the posts about newbie mix, the problem is getting coaches, not newbies. Having another pug group to help out in that regard could be a good thing.

Honestly, this is a lot like the first newbie mixes that took place a year ago. When there was only 150~ members in the steam group, rather than 3000. When we would sometimes have 2 or more coaches on each team because we could barely get 12 players. Those mixes were, in my opinion, a lot more fun and informative.

Also because the group was smaller then, a lot of the coaches and newbies became friends/mentors/teammates. A feeling of "community" that is kind of missing from the huge newbies mixes now.

If pet can get coaches who wouldn't normally coach in the weekend newbies mixes(eg Sigma as mentioned) because of the time of the event or the format, then why not let him do it?

I hope you guys know that prestige is not the same player as xprest1ge...

What do you get when Heaton and SpawN design a monitor?

120 Hz refresh rate, 2 ms response time, & a FPS mode.

I guess the spectator panels from the stream were little bit small, but that is about as large as the huds most players use. I think the target id's were fine.

However, don't you think new players & new viewers would be more attracted to the action right in front of them on camera, rather than reading the health stats/re-spawn times/uber % at the moment? As long as the buffed/lit indicators or color is visible, that is about all you need to know.

I tried downloading some demos yesterday and couldn't. Same Error. Didn't work this morning either.

I plan on roster riding for this team, so please join them so I can feel good about myself

Fixing 99% of custom huds after an update is as simple as re-installing.

This update is no different. The only missing elements should probably be the boss health bar and the wheel of death card status.
